This value of $0.48 makes me a little afraid for the future of hive, but as you said, this would be the best time for new users to join, because with this value, they would be able to acquire hive more easily.

Another point is that hive itself, regardless of the frontend used, should be easier to use, in some way, not being scared with so much information that falls into the lap of these new users.

Actually this value of 48 cents is right where it should be.
#hive tends to follow the value we can build on. As you can see #hive does not bounce around. Volatility is really gentle. New users should find something they like.
I was once and I stick around.
