Watching romantic films makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Seeing two people overcome obstacles and finally confess their love for each other is like a mini-escape from reality. Plus, it's fun to live vicariously through the characters and imagine myself in their shoes. The dramatic and heartwarming moments always get me. Plus, it's a great excuse to grab a pint of ice cream, snuggle up on the couch and forget about all the stress in the world for a little bit. And it's always a bonus when you see the happily ever after.

Shakespeare in Love

"Shakespeare in Love," tells the story of a young Will Shakespeare, struggling to develop a new play for the theater. He's hit writer's block and needs to be more inspired. That is until he meets a beautiful young woman named Viola. They meet by chance and quickly fall head over heels for each other. The problem is Viola is already engaged to someone else.

The story follows Will as he tries to write a play that will win Viola's heart, all while keeping their secret love affair under wraps. Along the way, there are plenty of comedic moments, like Will trying to sneak around behind his friend's back and Viola pretending to be a man so she can audition for Will's play. But there's also plenty of drama and heartache as they struggle with their forbidden love.

Will's writing starts to come to life as he becomes more and more inspired by Viola, and the play he's working on is getting better and better. But as the play's debut approaches, Viola's father finds out about their secret romance and forbids them from seeing each other. Will is devastated and doesn't know what to do, but with the help of his friends, he comes up with a plan to win back Viola's heart.

Ultimately, Will's play is a huge success, and Viola can finally break free of her engagement and be with the man she truly loves. But the happy ending isn't quite that simple. Will must choose between his love for Viola and the theater, to which he's devoted his life to. But in the end, love wins, and the two of them can finally be together.

Overall, "Shakespeare in Love" is a romantic and witty film about forbidden love, determination, and following your dreams. With great performances, witty dialogue, and a beautiful setting, it's a great film that is both entertaining and heartwarming.
