PYPT or Pimp Your Post Thursday is a live curation show held in the DreemPort server and hosted by me. When I brought it back after a break I moved it to the DreemPort server as the two projects are so aligned.

About DreemPort

DreemPort and PYPT are about curation not only on Hive but anywhere that a person creates content, including blogs. DreemPort and PYPT are about getting eyes on people’s work and making connections. They’re both aligned against plagiarism and spam.

Content consumers should not have to wade through spam and plagiarism to find content creators they want to read. Content creators need to be seen and appreciated.

DreemPort is the discord for a curation project that you can take part in. There’s no followers, no communities and no cliques to deal with. DreemPort is a port that you visit, curate 5 posts and then share your post. Then you go back to where you usually write. You also earn a crypto token called Dreem.

About PYPT

I started Pimp Your Post Thursday as a time for people to come together, get to know each and share posts. The posts can be their own or someone they think needs to get more attention.

PYPT ran every week for about 3 years and then I took a break in 2020. It returned in October 2021 around the anniversary of it’s original starting time. I try to create an atmosphere that makes it easy for new people to take part. It really helps that those who attend welcome new people.

Everyone is encouraged to visit the shared posts and support the authors through comments or where applicable upvotes or even sharing to their audiences. The show runs until there are no more posts to share. Then the recording is turned off and those who wish to hang out and chat do so. Those chats sometimes last as long as the show.

PYPT December 2nd

Here’s the recording for December 2nd. I had to bring the show to a halt in time for me to return to an online conference I was in but people still hung around to chat.

@sgt-dan has been streaming the show to his Twitch feed where a lot of gamers hang out. Some of them have started blogging and are making their way into PYPT to participate.

We’re discovering some decent writers among them. Thank you to all the Twitch participants for joining in.

Here’s the posts being talked about:

I do apologize for only replying to your post now @shadowspub! I just seriously got behind schedule with just about everything...lol!

But rather late than never...

Thank you for the mention in this post and yes, as you know, I attended your meeting on Thursday. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I do appreciate it.

I am looking forward to attending more freqeuntly. I do not want to make promises for every week, but I would love to attend as I am often as I can. I really enjoyed this week's event. It sounds like a great group of people to get to know better!

Have a great day!
