Richard Giraldo, known in the musical field as IAMK, hails from the Trujillo state, specifically from Boconó. This part of Venezuela is in the Andean region of the country, towards the paramos.

Richard Giraldo, conocido en el ámbito musical como IAMK, es oriundo del estado Trujillo, de Boconó específicamente. Esta parte de Venezuela queda en la región andina del país, hacia los paramos.

IAMK is a hip hop, jazz singer and music producer, standing out more in the urban part. He contacted me through a friend, for whom I have also made a video clip and photos, named Javier Silva Aka "Invisible". At the moment of establishing communication, Richard tells me that he has seen my photographic work especially at the urban level, so he asked me for a photo session in Caracas and its streets. We coordinated a day when he was here in the capital of the country to hold that session.

IAMK es cantante de hip hop, jazz y productor músical, destacando más en la parte urbana. Él me contacto por medio de un amigo, al que también le he realizado videoclip y fotos, llamado Javier Silva Aka "Invisible". Al momento de entablar comunicación, Richard me comenta que ha visto mi trabajo fotográfico sobre todo a nivel urbano, así que me pidió una sesión de fotos en Caracas y sus calles. Coordinamos un día cuando él estuviera aquí en la capital del país para realizar dicha sesión.

I focused on his style of music and how he is as a person and musician to select suitable spaces in the city, ones where I have not been yet and that with this session I was going to leave my mark with photography. We made a tour from the east of Caracas to the central part of it. He wanted to explore places and places that were colorful, full of cities and where he will take the heat of Caracas. The one that many who do not live here imagine and when they arrive they are surprised at how big the capital can be.

Me enfoque en su estilo de música y como es él como persona y músico para seleccionar unos espacios adecuados en la ciudad, unos dónde yo no haya estado aun y que con esta sesión iba a dejar mi huella con la fotografía. Hicimos un recorrido desde el esté de Caracas hasta la parte céntrica de la misma. Quería explorar sitios y lugares que fueran coloridos, llenos de urbe y donde él se llevará el calor de Caracas. Esa que muchos que no viven aquí, se imaginan y al llegar quedan sorprendidos de lo grande que puede llegar a ser la capital.
