Growth
I did well. I really went up in the ranking. My guess is from adding so many new unique cards. I also did well with Skill, Fans and put through 135 missions. I am trying to make sure I do at least 5 Illegal busking, and 5 radio interviews each day, along with whatever else I can fit in. I am moving up levels really slow, but honestly that is ok. I think I overran my level with my cards to support.
EGO - Need More Fans
My Current Ego Snapshot shows me at only 6576. I was doing a lot of missions last week and less lessons so I did pick up lesson ego pretty good. I still an struggling with drunks each day, but using the whisky as best I can. I still am doing just fine and have plenty of room to grow. A few lessons will ensure I stay ahead of my EGO. But as we all know - Fans = Star Bits!!!!
Illegal Busking - The OG Mission
When you first start - this is what you see. You can Earn 10 XP and 1-8 Starbits. Now XP won't change (unless you buy a booster) but StarBits will. I totally forgot to take a screen cap before I got started today. I have run over 5 missions, so my max has dropped. I think - I think I am at 106 for max. I have made some really good progress here and I will keep pushing to get more cards to keep growing
Music Lessons
Your first lesson - assuming you don't buy a microphone will look something like this. You earn an amazing 120 XP and Skill reward of 5-10. I still love music lessons for grinding through levels. It builds your skills, gives you no drunks, and a healthy 120xp. It really is a perfect balance to missions. No change here - my prior instruments were not microphones, but the cheapest I could add for luck. I will see if I can add a few here in the coming weeks.
Recent Buys 17,682 StarBits
My recent focus has been to save for another 12 pack. I decided to save up and go for the bulk purchase. I can't ignore the card market completely so I have been looking for any card I don't own, out of print and low cost every day. I have managed to buy 10 cards last week. Most low commons and out of print but a few deals I couldn't pass up.
R77 Rezz 2x 5000 SB
This was a steal. Any rare card for 5k is great for a band member. The stats were too juicy t pass up and I bought two of them!

I think I did really well. Most of these are out of print. I already had Rezz, but otherwise I think they were all new unique cards for me. It is nice to see a little more color when I look at my collection. I only spend just shy of 18k starbits, and have over half of what I need for my next 12 pack!!.
The only card I bought that is still in print, is Rosanne. At 500 Starbits, I could not leave it on the market, it was just too cheap. I fear I will almost any card for 500 starbits, IMO they are just too cheap not matter what. I know the next card was 575, and I left it, since it was least 10% higher. If you want to sell your cards for 500, let me know!!
Next Buys
I should get another 12 pack before next weeks update. That will likely really help me build up my stats. I will also keep looking for new cards to buy. It looks like I either have start to pay more than 1k for out of print cards, or need to flip over to instruments. I think for now I will keep with band member and leave instruments for later.
Strategy -
Add as many fans and skill cards as I can. I will also keep buying microphones and pianos, trying to get the best value for the SB. I need a lot for the piano lesson to get up to singing... I fear with the prices, I might buy a Bugle one day!

Let me know what you think I should do next, or how to improve my band better. I got PIZZA, LUV and BEER to tip if they are working.
I don't really know what I am doing but I am enjoying Rising Star so far. Looks somewhat cool and I like the music aspect. No idea about how the economy works though and how rare cards can be.
I like the no pressure factor. If I can't play a lot, I just pick the 5 hour mission and forget it. Not sure what level you are ,but getting to 55 and becoming na starbits millionaire is a must.
I think the rarity factor is going to really pick up. Considering the mintage is pretty low on most cards, I think they will have a huge opportunity to go up in price on collectibility alone. !PIZZA !LUV

At first I didn't think I would this hard at the game, but the playtoearn or playtogrow factor is just too big. I find my self always improving every week, even in small.strides. !PIZZA !BEER
