Mental Slavery is real: it's a matter of opening the mind.
It may sound easier said than done...
Here we are all divided like never before... the reds, the blues, the vaccinated, the unvaccinated, the whites, the blacks, all the colors and the shapes, everything has been divided and everyone's on edge...
Things definitely feel like they're going to blow up in our faces, sooner than expected.
And who's responsible for this? It doesn't matter. The only thing that really matters is recognizing that we're being manipulated.
It's really about mindset. We don't have any time to spare in life, we all have the same 24 hours a day, and yet most of us (including myself) still give our precious time away to those who wouldn't do the same in return...
Take your job for example, are you not working to make the boss's dream come true?
We make a lot of choices on the behalf of others. Be it advertisements on TV or social pressure, we are constantly bombarded with what we ought to think and do. In the end, we do not often make decisions out of true compassion or selflessness.
As much as I don't want to make this post a political one, let's look at an article from Time magazine (keep in mind this publication is left leaning at this point in time):
The language used in the article alone should raise some flags. In short, it outlines exactly what was done to change the voting system and manipulate the people's decision process to favor Biden. What's mostly baffling is that they admit to having used mind controlling technologies (new and old) to sway the vote to one side. It's all right there in the open, giving us the play by play of how they rigged the election, in secret behind closed doors.
But most people were so happy to have gotten Trump out of office they turned a blind eye on this act of pure fascism.
The mind is so easily swayed, with over 10,000 years of fine-tuning the technology of persuasion, they know how to move us where they want us to be on the game board.
Your mindset is the key to real Freedom
When we pick a specific camp to join we limit ourselves to the ideologies prescribed by that team. Because we're limited, we tend to have strong opinions about the opposing team's ideologies. That makes for a debate pre-set full arguments when we are confronted, as we protect our ideas without listening to opposition. The more we bury ourselves into one camp, the louder the noise from the other camp becomes. This is where it becomes important to understand that we were purposely guided into one camp or an other, for one reason only. It's been done this way to have us divided so that we can keep fighting amongst ourselves.
In the end, those camps, whether they're tied to politics, sports or religion, have the same agenda. They may have different ways to get what they looking for, but essentially they're all the same.
While there's nothing wrong with chosing a camp to belong to, remember that the truth is within you. Our purpose on earth is probably very simple, we are sexual beings who need community, we naturally seek happiness, creativity, spirituality, and above all we are playful. All that noise is made specifically to keep us apart and from thinking for ourselves.
While we can stay informed on current events, we have to remember to stay rational and ask ourselves how our reactions are being triggered by what is going on, and why. Was there another purpose? Were we moved to a certain place on the board of the game of life or was it truly voluntary...?
On that note, I would like to invite you to read Etienne de la Boétie's Discourse on Voluntary Servitude:
Find one of your passions, observe reactionary moments as the day progresses, and try your best to be playful.
