I used to hate the idea of a leader but my friend told me something that changed my mind. He said “when you hold the mic, you are king, you are the leader. Don’t shy away from that power and don’t hold on to it longer than you know you should, help others get ready to hold the mic”
I think all a leader needs to be is someone who can embody some values when the moment asks someone to stand up. And we can all be leaders and pass the mic around.

I like that way of looking at it, the word leader just triggers me, so I guess I need to look at it in a different way xxx
I understand. I only use it in a philosophical sense, I never call myself a leader or someone else a leader really.
