The 315th Shadow Hunting (SMaSH - Show Me a Shadow) Contest in a row!
One of the oldest contests on the Hive Blockchain. It's been running for almost six years and regularly pays out rewards for awesome shadows.
If that's not a matter of trust then what is it?
Shadows are everywhere, whether it's day or night. Taking an amazing shadow photo is as easy as using your camera or mobile device. We're not looking for perfection in this photo contest. It's not about the technical aspects like framing, lighting, contrast, colors, or resolution.
All we need is a photo that captures a special moment, like a unique shadow.
Especially on a sunny day outside, but also at night, there are shadows everywhere.
So, are you ready for Shadow Hunting?
When you take a walk, capture images of shadows and post them. The Community rewards each post! Have you seen something like this somewhere else? It's awesome! Trust me, you won't find this opportunity anywhere else. It's amazing!

What you're waiting for?
I'm not a professional photographer, so I usually use my cell phone to take pictures. But sometimes shadows can be a bit tricky.
Don't worry though, if you embrace the challenge, you'll have an excellent shot!
Here are some of my photos to give you an example of shadow hunting.
Shadows in the garden of the bar
This is my favorite bar, it's called Orange, it's on the edge of the park, and, when I go for a walk I usually stop here for a coffee or a beer. 🍻
I've taken countless shadows here, but there's always a new one. This is a couple of days ago, when the sun was shining brightly after the rain and there were shadows of the stand and the pruned vines on the ground.
Ready to mow
Yesterday I was getting ready to mow. The grass is still wet but in a couple of days will be drier, and the orchard will need mowing. The last time I cut the grass was last October.
The photos are of two of my mowers which I have checked to see if they are in working order. They work!
And of course the shadows on the ground.
What would that be?
An improvised bicycle parking rack and its shadow and the shadow of the tree next to it.
Snow residues
A week or so ago, even though it was spring, we were surprised by snow. As the sun shone brightly immediately after the storm, it melted the same day. Here we see the remnants of snow and the shadow of a bush next to it. Well, this was the only snow in the valley this winter.
Tree shadows in the forest
To finish with, the shadows of the trees in the forest, when I went with my friends on foot to a party in a forest hut.
What happened at the party is for another time. 😵💫

Great shadow hunts. We had a shadow hunting competition in our gaming photography community where gamers had to hunt shadows virtually and your post reminded me of that time.
