Love The Clouds: Clouds On The Road Home
Hello cloud lovers! ☁️ 😎
I'm a member of this community, but I check in less often. I know clouds are everywhere, but to find something interesting you have to try harder. And, a couple of weeks ago, I did (at least I think so) and took some photos of clouds on the road, a good 200 kilometres trip.
If anyone is interested in the details, this story is a follow-up to the story of Back To The Second Home, where I describe my holiday trip to the island of Pag, Croatia.
But here I am going back after two weeks, returning home by the same route, and I decided to take photos of the clouds for the return trip.
We have not started well. It's about 3 pm, the wind is blowing hot, we're going on the ferry, and the rain clouds are thickening. In the background is Sveti Vid (339 m), the highest peak on the island of Pag, where we also went for a walk, if anyone is interested.
Whether it will rain or not is now the question. 😎
Even on the ferry, as we were heading towards the mainland, it didn't look very encouraging. A few drops even fell. Maybe it was from the wind and the waves? I don't know.
We are already on the mainland, from Prizna towards Senj. The drive is slow, in a queue (there is no motorway here), and the clouds have thinned out a bit.
Now, that I've edited these photos, they look thick and creamy, like beer foam : :) 🍻
This road is called the Adriatic Highway and it runs more or less along the coast, so we have a really nice view of the sea, the islands and, of course, the clouds the whole way.
In the first photo below we can still see the island of Pag coming to an end, further on in the photos is the island of Rab and of course the richness of the clouds forming different structures in the sky.
The island of Rab is short and slowly disappearing, ahead begins the island of Krk, the largest in the northern Adriatic.
And of course, the wonderful transformations of the clouds that change along the way.
A short rest and a coffee in front of Crikvenica, again I wonder if it will rain or not... but I don't think it will.
Well, I'm on the motorway now, 50 kilometres to go, and I'll be home in half an hour. The clouds are still in the sky but I don't think it's going to rain.
This photo would also be good for the Reflection hunters contest @olgavita, because I have a reflection of the clouds in my car mirror :)

I hope to post some more here, because I really like clouds, they somehow symbolizes to me the complete freedom of movement and shape change.

I can't even make these beautiful cloud pictures. My phone cam is too bad. Maybe the camera from my wife could.
As I mention all photos from my old LG G7ThinQ, but LG announced that they will not produce phones :(
Any idea for which phone you will go in the future?
Probably Samsung. I bought wife and younger son Samsung A52 or something and they're satisfied with photos and videos.
My wife had a Samsung some years ago but we switched to cheaper Huawei phones. I don't make photos often so the lack of quality was never an issue. On the other side, looking at the food post I made, the pics aren't that bad.
Well, I would not recommend Huawei, it has no support for Android apps ... my family is satisfied with Samsungs A52 (I think last year it was about €300) ... well my older son swears by the iPhone ... I have also some food posts to prepare ... maybe next week :)
I think it has in not anymore. I have full Android on it and even with the changes they had to do, everything is still working like before afaik. I had an iPhone as my first smartphone but I'm happy that I'm using Android phones now. It's way easier to connect and interact with my PC.

Oh, I also love the clouds and usually try to find images in them. Do you?
No. I just enjoy in structures :) of course if there are images than is great.
