AFRI-TUNES WEEK #84-----IDINMA (Cover)

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Hello to everyone on this great platform, it's been weeks since I was last present here And I must say it feels like years away already. Life has its own way of telling on people at different times depending on our Various engagements.

It's another week of participation and I'm excited to share with you all my entry for this week which is titled "IDINMA" by Judykay. Idinma is an Igbo language from the eastern part of Nigeria which means "The good shepherd". I'm not an Igbo lady but my love for that language is a serious one o, even though I don't know how to speak it fluently except for some basic ones.

The song is a very deep song with deep meaning. It's a song that Even when you don't know or understand the Igbo part of it, you'd still love to sing along and vibe to it. The name good shepherd is one of the sweet names I call God, he always knows when we are in need of something and also knows how to supply those needs in time.

Sometimes, when God doesn't give us our wants, we mostly feel bad and neglected because we feel we have the right to get whatsoever it is that we want from God because we're his children. Yes, it true, but only a good father and shepherd knows what's good for his children or sheeps not minding our cravings for that particular thing at that point in time, because he knows our wants might hurt us and he wouldn't want us to get hurt.

Really, I think it's high time we begin thanking God for the things we wanted that he didn't do. God has really been good to me. Now When I look back at some things I had wanted and God didn't do it, I feel happy that he didn't do it because some things would have gone wrong by now.

God is good, all the time 🙌. Thanks for stopping by my post and I appreciate your comments 🤗.
