AFRI-TUNES WEEK #88------- ESE OLUWA (COVER)

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

It's a beautiful day and I'd like to specially greet everyone on this platform. I hope we're all doing well in our Various locations and engagements?.

Here I am again, excited to participate in this week's edition of Afritunes weekly contest. My entry for this week is a song titled "Ese Oluwa" by Sonie Badu. Ese Oluwa is a Yoruba dialect that means Thank you Lord.

Looking back to see how far God has brought me in life, I can't help but thank him immensely. He has done wondrous things in my life that Even I can't explain. Yesterday, I had my final defense as an undergraduate and I must say, it has been God all through. He never leaves a stone unturned when it comes to my matter.

I can remember when my academics almost went south during my 2nd and 3rd year in school, I prayed to God but things were not still looking like I wanted, I almost got discouraged but then, I turned all my prayers to Thanksgiving and in no time, God came through!!! As a matter of fact, I got overwhelmed by the goodness, mercy and Grace that he showed me that people began to testify to it.

Here I am, as a testament that God is good, and that's because I understood the power of Thanksgiving. I want to implore us today, to begin to encourage the act of giving thanks and always giving thanks. But Wait, why would you even want to stop thanking the God that never stops doing good for you?? His mercies are new every morning, so also should we learn to give thanks to him at all times.

I hope you enjoy my entry. Thanks for stopping by my post, big hug from me to you all 🤗.

Are you sure you are not related to Simi somehow🤔 just saying though cause you sing just like her and somehow even look like her.
You know what that means already. Since Simi sings beautifully it means your presentation was super beautiful and a blast!
Great work dear @sayofunmi
