Beatdown Of the Day: Better in Theory

Summoner
for my summoner i chose Thaddeus brood because his abilities are to minus one health and one magic attack from my opponents monsters.

First Position
In the first position are used ancient lich Because this was a river speed battle I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use him as he is one of the slowest characters in the game.

Second Position
In the second position I also chose to put the horny toad which was obviously a big mistake in a reverse speed battle as with three speed it was almost certain that he was going to attack last.

Round One:
Looking at round one my opponent has three splinters while I only have two I was a little bit worried but hopeful that I was going to be able to pull it off with this reverse speed battle.

Round Two:
In round two I had already lost the horny toad and it didn’t look well for ancient lich . Not to mention my opponent still had three splinters who could attack. This was bad news to begin with.

Round Three:
In round three we can see that ancient Lake has taken a thorough pounding but he was able to take out one of my opponents splinters which is OK but would have been nice if he could take all of them out. It was a tough battle and I obviously lost it maybe it was a poor selection of cards and combination of poor placement of cards.
