Kendra's 8th BTS Themed DIY Birthday @ The Teacup

Last 15th of July, my daughter celebrated her 8th Birthday. Initially, I just wanted to throw a simple dinner with the family but then, my sister Joyce @morenatravels suggested to celebrate her birthday at her shop, The Teacup. I'm always grateful having my siblings around and showered by daughter with so much love. My sister eve @eeventuree volunteered and cooked some pasta, baked Mac and cheese for the kids and carbonara for the adults. Since I decided to have her 8th Birthday themed which was BTS, as she already told me before that she wanted to have a BTS themed Party. Later part, when she began watching Stranger things, she changed her mind and wanted to have a stranger things themed party. I talked to her and asked her to have it on her 9th birthday since my sister @gwenfinity who pledged to buy her a cake, have already submitted the BTS design cake. Eventually, my daughter said yes for the BTS themed party. I bought balloons and backdrops too for the decorations and printed a tarpaulin.

Since it was BTS themed Party, I let her wore a purple dress that I bought from Shein. I have bought few toys like slime and bubbles for the children. I only invited few kids, my cousins, her cousins and my friend Gretel's four kids. Since the place is just small, we have to limit the guest and only invited few people. I have decorated the place at 1pm after we went to church and set up everything.

I have prepared some lootbags too for the kids to enjoy at home.

The party started with them playing some slime and right after they ate some snacks. They went outside after to play with the bubbles and running around from the shop to my sister's new house. Also, my sister Joyce served some milktea for the kids too and have them chose what drink they wanted. Oh, my daughter was actually teacup's brand ambassador, that's why I'm thankful to my sister and her husband for their generosity.

Right after playing, she blew her cake after we sang her a birthday song and she made a wish. She gave some lootbags to the kids so they can enjoy it while they were playing.

Of course, while waiting for my invited friends who were still in the office, my sisters and my friend Gretel, had some white wine while we were busy chit-chatting. Some of the kids left already as the sun started to set.

It was a simple but fun party for my daughter, along with her cousins and friends.

My friends came later part and had some dinner. Aside from fruit tea and milk tea that we had my sister Joyce offered some hot tea too. We had some pizza that my brother in law bought and ate the glaze chicken that my mom cooked as well. I am forever grateful for having a family who has been my great support as as single mom. I can't thank God enough for giving me such wonderful family.

Look at my daughter smiling from ear to ear as she was really happy celebrating her eight birthday that made this momma super happy too! :)
