Sinulog 2024 : Stroll @ Fuente

Pit Senyor! Once again the annual fiesta celebration of the grandest Festival in the Philippines took place last Sunday as we celebrated Sinulog Festival. It was the second time around that the grand parade, street dancing, and the Dance Mardi Gras happened at the South Road Properties. It was a successful event for every Cebuano and everyone who celebrated with us. As much as I'd love to watch the street dancing and the Dance Mardi Gras I just opted not to, but instead celebrated Sinulog with my daughter at the busy street of Fuente Osmena Circle along with my niece Kc.

To feel the Sinulog Vibe, we have to wear these accessories or headdresses to complete our Sinulog outfit. We roamed around the busy street near Fuente Osmena Circle and had some tasty food inside the Circle. There were some snack samples too that my daughter had tried. We had a barbecue, a fried ice cream which my daughter corrected that it should not be named fried ice cream but instead rolled ice cream since it was rolled (lol). Good point right? She's that smart like her momma. haha.

We were also busy strolling around, taking videos and photos to document it again since it is a great feeling to look back on important memories that we will surely treasure as time goes by. A lot has changed since the venue changed but it was still crowded and it seems that we still enjoyed celebrating Sinulog. Right after my daughter had fully enjoyed our simple stroll during Sinulog we opted to just take a walk from Fuente to Capitol so we could ride a jeepney there after taking a photo in front of my work place.

It was a simple way of celebrating Sinulog 2024 and looking forward to more bonding moments with my daughter. :)
