Children’s Art Exhibit

Here's another Art Gallery exhibit at Cebu Provincial Capitol, this time around it's a Children Art Exhibit. I love the bright and colorful concept that surely captures not just children's attention but also to those who loves art and children at the same time. I brought my daughter here and she was really amazed by it. She even asked me why that the kid in the seasaw have played with the mobile phone and not with a human. Well, this actually portrays the children of this generation where mobile phones became their playmate and their best-friend.

I look around the gallery and reminded of my childhood where on those paintings you can see bright colors and children playing outdoor. It brings me to those moments during my childhood where I used to play with my cousins and my sisters outside. Those outdoor pinoy games like Patintero, slipper game, home-base, volleyball and even chinese garter. Oh boy, I certainly miss those moments. Now, I can actually tell my daughter about how I played back then. She gets excited when I tell her those kind of stuff.

Nevertheless, this exhibit will be up I guess just for this month. If you're from Cebu make sure to visit Cebu Provincial Capitol at ground floor area to witness this free exhibit. Bring your child with you and try to tell them your story back when you were younger, they always listen with enthusiasm and excitement.
