My Favorite Stewed Salmon

Hello everyone! I would like to share to you this simple recipe yet appetizing you wanted more! Well, mothers always want to feed their brood with their favorites and this is one among others that they love to partake.

I went to the wet market to look for something yummy without so much fats and cholesterol. We've had enough of that last holiday.:) LoL! I was glad to have found this fresh salmon fish. It's good for frying with dips but before that I don't fry it direct after cleaning.

You know guys, here's the technique on how to make it more delicious and tasty. First, it needs to undergo stewing to let the liquid absorb inside meat.

Here's the recipe guys!

Stewed Salmon

• 1 kilo salmon fish (or other options will be fine)

• 1/2 cup vinegar
• 1 cup water
• 1 tsp table salt
• 1 clove Garlic, minced
• Bell pepper, sliced into
strips
• papaitan
• Spring Onions, halved
• Fresh Tomatoes, sliced
• seasoning
• Oregano/basil/paprika
• Black pepper with leaves
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil/olive oil

Instructions:

• Remove the intestines and wash thoroughly.

• Prepare your pan. For me, I prefer the old wok because it's thicker :).Before I forget, divide your spices into two: 1 for the base and the other half will be for the toppings.

• First, prepare the base and arrange the spices evenly such garlic, ginger, bell peppers, papaitan, spring onions and tomatoes.

Arrange the fish alternately to let the vinegar soak evenly.

Then add and arrange the 2nd set of spices on top.

For finale, add the vinegar and other condiments (optional), salt and seasoning to taste. You may add a dash of brown sugar to regulate the taste but not too much.

Serve either hot or cold. The good thing is that this kind of preparation is cholesterol free with lots of nutritional values from the fish meat and the herbs and spices added into it making it so delicious and mouth watering! And what's more, you can add this to your other menus anytime of the day.

The last but not the least, fried stewed fish for breakfast would be great especially when matched with fried rice or newly cooked one. A hot brewed coffee with this simple meal will indeed make your day! Try it.:)

This is all for now, thank you for dropping by my page. God bless us all!
