A Getaway where you wanted to unwind and spend quality time with your love ones

At last my kids were able to set a date to meet each other after the lockdown. Distance prevented them to see each other even on special occasions that I was overwhelmed when they've finally set a date for family bonding before my youngest daughter set-off.

After thorough discussion as to where we should spend the day, they've decided for us to go to Nataasan Resort and Dive Center which is a 4-hour drive from Bacolod City to Sipalay City.

We settled at Nataasan Resort Hotel. It was a weekend hence we need to make a reservation first and luckily we got the last two family rooms which got two wide beds that could accommodate 3 each, just enough for the 12 of us! We were located on the second floor so I had a good view of the place where you can see the swimming pool and overlooking the sea at the back!

The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned with stand fan which was very comfy!

I was happy that my grandson and his dad (my youngest) was able to join us.

Daughter and son enjoyed swimming at the pool for kids and a string of floating balls were placed as a warning not to cross on the deeper part which was intended for adults only.

The ambiance is very relaxing and quiet.

We wanted to catch a glimpse of the sunset so we hurried to the viewing deck

Our silhouette which ended the day's task before deciding to take our dinner outside.

We selected Mekens Eatery who is a friend of my daughter way back their college years. There's an array of food courts where you can choose from from seafoods to grilled meat and stewed fish.

The place is well lighted at night where the tables are extended outside with canopies is you choose to feel the cool breeze of the sea. The boulevard is free for swimming to the public too.

Our second day

There are lots of enjoyment you can choose from: kayaking, surfing, boating or go scuba diving. Well, we chose to go island hopping on our second day!

Free breakfast is included in the package.

One of the caves go through and through the other end. Hmmm, I was left behind to take care of my 2-yr old grandson who was already fast asleep and let the couple explore the little island. We had three stopovers. On our last trip, we were strictly required to wear our life vests for safety precautions.

I was readily handed a google as we were so excited looking under the water where many kinds of fishes thrive!

Indeed, it was a different life down there with all the untamed fishes and corals and free from pollution. They deserve to be taken cared of. We were not allowed to bring corals so my grandson just took photos as a souvenir. Next time, we will bring a waterproof camera to capture the beautiful marine life underwater.

It then ended our 2 days staycation.

We were all famished after our 3-hour island hopping that we ate with gusto and ordered extra rice. Lol!

Before parting, my elder daughter gave a little present for her younger sister who won't be with us on her birthday since she's already scheduled to go back to her working place.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip with my family! It was all worth it! You can visit this place guys to experience it yourself.
