Sometimes I wonder, uncertain love

Image
Sometimes I wonder, uncertain love
if you thought at least twice,
throwing promises, with the air of a fairy tale,
without noticing that in me they were awakened dogma.
Words you said, shadows of lime
that with closed eyes I took as law,
and when I saw you leave, my waiting without a king
became a lament, a mortal noise.
Did you perhaps feel guilt in your walk,
when you saw that my dreams sought shelter
in a sky of clouds that would never be?
They say that your talk is carried to the wind,
but they remain in my chest, a prisoner witness,
like lead that never ceases to weigh
