I don't need the money

Image
I don't need the money,
nor a home of luxury and splendour,
nor the breeze of a fortune,
nor jewels that sparkle without love.
In the web of life
my dreams are woven with skin,
and in delicate whispers
I find my home, my role.
I want none of that,
nor riches in distant lands,
just a few words, sincere,
like caresses of sister souls.
I need feelings,
whispers that speak the truth,
glances that light the fire,
the peace you feel when you love.
I want the perfume of an embrace,
the laughter that evokes the sea,
and the magic of an I love you
that blossoms in simplicity, in humility.
