My Pumpkin Garden
I started growing my pumpkin garden this year with a lot of hope. Because last year did not give me expected result. I planted pumpkin last year, and it did very well. The leaves were green and fresh, in fact the garden looked beautiful. Despite how healthy the plants look, they did not produce seed for replanting. It was so painful and disappointing because I put in a lot to that garden.

That's a picture of my last year pumpkin garden.
When I spoke to my mother and some farmers, they explained that it happens like that sometimes. Some years that pumpkins grow well but will not produce seeds, that it's just part of farming. I was relieved a bit, because I was thinking I might have done something wrong somewhere.
This year, my husband traveled to the village and brought vegetable seeds for me when he was returning. I was happy and quickly planted them in my garden, unfortunately, the weather was very harsh, the sun was extremely hot to the point it started affecting my young plants. Trust me, I did not relent from watering them constantly just to keep them alive.

Thankfully things have started to improve, last week, rain fell and I was relieved from constant watering. It feels like we are gradually entering the raining season proper because the plants are beginning to look better, and I am hopeful again.

I plan to apply a little fertiliser to help the pumpkins grow well. A neighbour introduced me to a plant booster, but the price is quite high he said it's imported, I don't think I can afford that. I can also buy chicken excrement, which I have been using over the years, it's cheaper and very effective also, but the smell can sometimes be unbearable. If I'm in the mood to put up with the smell, then I go for it, else I settle for fertiliser.
In a few months time, I will definitely share the progress on my pumpkin garden. I am hopeful that all my efforts will pay off, I hope to seeing healthy growth and to share the results of my hard work.
Thank you all and loads of love💕💕💕💝💝💝♥️♥️♥️ from @sarahbaby blog.

Ohh, glad things getting better now in your garden. In planting the change of weather is always the problem. Though we can find a solution to it, but sometimes it is not just enough. Mama move her bell pepper several times coz the heat here is too much. And we think that stops the bell pepper from sprouting though it just continuously blooming flowers. Anyways good luck on your pumpkin.
Thanks, the weather has always been the problem, but with the right weather I believe we would get better results.
