Welcome to my blog

Since last December, I started going to the neighborhood park with my family. Sometimes I went with my brother, other days with my aunt, and others with my dog. My brother, who is a person of very established routines and habits, has not stopped going since he started.

He had never exercised before, he just walked, so I decided to invite him to the park to teach him how to use some of the machines and so that his consistency and willpower would rub off on me 😅.

He continued to go most of the time alone and, as expected, there are exercises he does wrong; he doesn't use the machines correctly. So as not to discourage him, I correct him as best I can, explaining calmly and repeating myself many times. He has a hard time understanding and learning, but once he learns something, it stays in his memory forever.

For example, he didn't understand how to use an arm machine and shortened the movement, and the same thing happened with the leg machine. So I've had to be his personal trainer and stay by his side, correcting his posture, breathing, movement, and speed. He's willing to learn, and I know he's trying very hard.

I'm happy because he's exercising at 40. I've seen how his sleep and temperament have improved, which has promoted peace and harmony at home.

Desde diciembre pasado comencé a caminar con mi familia hacia el parque del barrio, a veces iba con mi hermano, otros días con mi tía y otros llevando a mi perro. Mi hermano que es una persona de rutinas y hábitos bien establecidos, no ha dejado de ir desde que comenzó.

Él nunca había hecho ejercicio solo caminaba, entonces se me ocurrió invitarlo al parque para enseñarle a usar algunas máquinas y contagiarme de su constancia y fuerza de voluntad 😅.

Él continuó yendo la mayoría de las veces solo y como era de esperar hay ejercicios que está haciendo mal, no usa las máquinas correctamente. Para no desmotivarlo lo corrijo de la mejor manera, le explico con calma y le repito muchas veces, a él le cuesta entender y aprender pero una vez que lo aprendió lo deja firme en su memoria para siempre.

Por ejemplo una máquina para los brazos no los entendía bien y acortaba el movimiento, lo mismo para las piernas. Entonces me ha tocado ser su entrenadora personal y estar a su lado corrigiendo la postura, la respiración, el movimiento, la velocidad. Él está dispuesto para aprender y sé que se está esforzando.

Estoy contenta porque él está haciendo ejercicios a sus 40 años, he visto cómo ha mejorado su sueño y carácter, favoreciendo la paz y armonía en el hogar.
