Hoy les traigo otro dibujo relacionado a la serie animada AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, que en este caso se trata de Katara, el personaje femenino principal y conocida por su poder de manipular el agua o "agua control" como se le llama en la serie. A continuación les muestro el proceso que seguí para dibujarla.

Hello, Hive Community! Today I bring you another drawing related to the animated series AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, which in this case is about Katara, the main female character and known for her power to manipulate water or "water control" as it is called in the series. Below I show you the process I followed to draw her.

El primer paso fue dibujar un boceto con un lápiz 4H, usando formas sencillas para la forma de la cara, así como algunas líneas de guía.

The first step was to draw a sketch with a 4H pencil, using simple shapes for the shape of the face, as well as some guide lines.

Lo siguiente fue el entintado, usando un marcador de punta ultrafina para las líneas internas y un marcado de punta fina para las líneas externas, logrando así un juego interesante entre los valores de las líneas.

Next was the inking, using an ultra-fine tip marker for the inner lines and a fine tip marker for the outer lines, thus achieving an interesting interplay between the line values.

Antes de pasar al coloreado, decidí en el último minuto agregarle hombros al personaje para que la cabeza no quedara flotando en el aire. Después de aplicar el mismo proceso para la cabeza, apliqué los colores distintivos de Katara y tomé la siguiente foto.

Before moving on to the coloring, I decided at the last minute to add shoulders to the character so that the head would not be floating in the air. After applying the same process for the head, I applied Katara's distinctive colors and took the following photo.
