En ocasión del estreno del trailer de la nueva serie de AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER por parte de Netflix, aquí les comparto un dibujo de Aang, el protagonista de esta icónica caricatura y que hice gracias a un tutorial de YouTube. A continuación les muestro algunas fotos del proceso.

Hello, Hive Community! On the occasion of the premiere of the trailer of the new series of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER by Netflix, here I share with you a drawing of Aang, the protagonist of this iconic cartoon and that I made thanks to a YouTube tutorial. Below I show you some pictures of the process.

El primer paso fue hacer un boceto del personaje con un lápiz 4H, usando formas sencillas y líneas de guía.

The first step was to sketch the character with a 4H pencil, using simple shapes and guide lines.

Lo siguiente fue entintarlo con un marcador de punta fina y borrar las líneas a lápiz.

The next thing was to ink it with a fine tip marker and erase the lines in pencil.

Para terminar, le apliqué los colores característicos del personaje y tomé la siguiente foto.

To finish, I applied the characteristic colors of the character and took the following photo.

A continuación les dejo el tutorial que me sirvió de base, que pertenece a una serie de segmentos que pasaban en Nickelodeon, donde los animadores te enseñaban a dibujar de manera sencilla a los personajes de las series de ese entonces.
