School failure is a problem that goes beyond the fact that any child or adolescent gets a bad grade or does not end up fitting into the initial educational system; this problem can even condition the individual in his or her adult stage, influencing his or her professional development.

Education enters first through our homes, which is why we can find out by using an effective communicational dialogue with our children if they have any adaptation problems at school or if it is an academic problem in their learning.

We must avoid as parents any confrontation with our children that is related to any scolding or reproach for not knowing how to deal with their problem of school failure, because if this happens what we will achieve is to alienate our children from us, they will coibiran and what we will end up is to generate distrust for them to tell us their problems.

The most convenient thing is to generate in them the sufficient confidence so that they can tell us their problems and to be able to find a solution for their problem of scholastic failure.

Getting involved with the school and our child's teacher will help us learn firsthand about the problems that are causing our child to underperform.

Based on the information obtained from the assessment, we can set short and long term goals, and with the help of the teacher we can ask to fill in the gaps without saturating our child, while at the same time motivating him/her as he/she acquires new skills.

It is a necessary understanding because in our society even teachers fail to establish an effective communication with the students which hinders their professional life in coming years.
