hello #openmic community friends
I'm @samuelstifen.
Today is the 204th week, I brought a cover of a song from my country entitled Indonesia Pusaka, this song was written by a singer named Ismail Marzuki.
Ismail Marzuki is one of the great Indonesian composers. His name is now immortalized as an art center in Jakarta, namely Taman Ismail Marzuki in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta.
He died on May 25 1958. And his songs are still immortal in this country.
and this song has been around for a long time, this song is a struggle song from my country and has become a cultural song in my country.
and I was also confused about what song I should bring, because this theme is very unique and creates an extraordinary challenge. Finally I chose this song

The theme for week 204 was Asian Culture, chosen by @viktoriakim21, a musician who is very active and has extraordinary talent.
and for this week's theme, I don't really understand what this theme means, maybe what little I can understand from this theme is, whatever we live in and where we are, never leave our culture which has become an honor for us.

I really like the culture of Indonesia, because for me the culture here is still very strong and still popular, there are many cultures here and traditions that are still developing, and many of the cultures and traditions that I see are very interesting and I am happy to be able to have Indonesian culture and has many cultures and traditions.
now perhaps it is up to our generation and future generations to preserve and strengthen the culture and traditions of our own country.

and I also want to convey and give a message, don't forget that for all of us who are in any country, we must respect their culture, as said by @viktoriakim21 he likes Korean culture, because of the language, music and others, he likes it because the culture is very unique and beautiful, we must respect the culture that has been established basically.

and the meaning of the lyrics of the song Indonesia Pusaka that I present, is a reflection of the soul of a people about their love for their homeland Indonesia. The behavior of love for one's country can be manifested in various forms, such as by maintaining unity and integrity and contributing one's knowledge and skills to build the Indonesian state.
Maybe this is all I can convey in a presentation for the week's theme, I hope friends can enjoy this song from my country and be happy to hear it.
Maybe that's all I can give for this week, see you next week, I say THANKYOU

INDONESIA PUSAKA

Indonesia tanah air beta
Pusaka abadi nan jaya
Indonesia sejak dulu kala
Tetap dipuja-puja bangsa

Di sana tempat lahir beta
Dibuai, dibesarkan Bunda
Tempat berlindung di hari tua
Sampai akhir menutup mata

Sungguh indah tanah air beta
Tiada bandingnya di dunia
Karya indah Tuhan Mahakuasa
Bagi bangsa yang memujanya

Indonesia, Ibu Pertiwi
Kau kupuja, kau kukasihi
Tenagaku, bahkan pun jiwaku
Kepadamu, rela kuberi

Indonesia, Ibu Pertiwi
Kau kupuja, kau kukasihi
Tenagaku, bahkan pun jiwaku
Kepadamu, rela kuberi
Tenagaku, bahkan pun jiwaku
Kepadamu, rela kuberi

ENGLISH VERSION

Indonesia is the homeland of Beta
An eternal and glorious heirloom
Indonesia since time immemorial
Still revered by the nation

It's where Beta was born
Cradled, raised by Mother
A shelter in old age
Until the end, close your eyes

Beta's homeland is truly beautiful
There is no equal in the world
The beautiful work of Almighty God
For the nation that worships him

Indonesia, Mother Earth
I adore you, I love you
My energy, even my soul
To you, I'm willing to give

Indonesia, Mother Earth
I adore you, I love you
My energy, even my soul
To you, I'm willing to give
My energy, even my soul
To you, I'm willing to give

What a beautiful song, I loved the language. It's important for Indonesians to maintain their beatiful and rich culture and traditions, and pass them from generation to generation.
