Picking our Christmas day salad 🌱 Merry Christmas everyone!

What a pleasure it is to be able to nip to the garden on Christmas Eve and pick this lot!

We had been saving one carrot for this moment.

image.png

Luna wanted to be the one who picked it.

image.png

She tried her best but the carrot won in the end.

image.png

Stand aside says Esteban, I'll deal with this.

image.png

No problemo ;)

image.png

Nothing better than the taste of a freshly picked carrot.

image.png

Or freshly picked spinach, which Esteban really enjoys.

image.png

Two types of lettuce, rocket, spinach, beetroot and our one beloved carrot. Throw in some parsley we have in our courtyard and that will do nicely as a 100% home grown salad.

image.png

Love the way the beans look in this bed, poking out from their layer of leaves.

image.png

Give it a few months and she will look a whole bunch different to today.

image.png

So, that's it. Just wanted to share some love with you on Christmas Eve.

image.png

Thanks to all who took the time to respond to Esteban's swollen adenoid problem. I feel sure that with the help of this amazing community we will figure this problem out once and for all.

Merry Christmas everyone and of course, we are sending you our Love & Light 🌱

Yes, tis the season to have lurgy ;)

Though I feel as if I must mention to you that viruses are actually not contagious. One of the greatest lies perpetrated on humanity during this last century was this. Even Pasteur (the inventor of germ theory) acknowledged before his death that he was wrong, but of course they wrote that bit out of history because it did not fit with the programme of fear we are currently experiencing. In fact, our bodies simply recognise the change in seasons and take the opportunity to clean out the gunk which has built up over the year. Some of us don't experience it because our bodies simply don't need it. While others will all experience it at the same time, giving the illusion of contagion. So, next time someone talks about catching a cold you will know this is all part of the illusion to keep us in fear.

Merry Christmas!

Yes, have looked into this. I have had a bit of stress recently (nothing major) and I think it's getting to me all this lying at work. Basically blagged not having the snake bite and made a deal with the boss I would say I have if they do question or push me. This is unsettling my energy I think and need to work on a way to overcome this, hence the body retaliating. Dis ease in the throat means you are struggling to say something so it all fits.

The main reason is my partner's dad he leukaemia and she worries. It's all perceptual I guess I have something so worries create it and passes it this way through perception. So being safe as if they are fearful he might well develop something. Having salt mouthwash, Tumeric, meditation and reiki 🙏🏽

Merry Crimbo 🎄

Happy Christmas buddy! My garden is under a foot of powder, completely empty except for some garlic bulbs along the fence. Nice carrot! :D

I would dearly love a foot of powder to suddenly drop on us. It is surprisingly warm at the moment so we will have to drive higher up the mountain if we are to build a snowman this year.

Thanks as always for the luv :)

Universal Truth

In your climate, will those beans survive the winter? i thought that you were in the high Mountains!

We are around 900m here, so I suppose it isn't all that high. We do intend to move higher!

That being said, it did snow last year and this didn't seem to bother the beans and peas at all, so I would not be surprised at all if they still grow higher up the mountain.

Merry Christmas my friend!

Thanks for the info; good to know. i figured that any frost would damage the foliage.

Beautiful Bro. You've got a big ol' house and a pretty wife. And the children look so much like Mum and Dad, it's like a little heartwarming fairy tale :)

haha! Excellent brother. A good reference to the musical manifestations of my past ;) Though I wouldn't call it a big ol house quite yet. Our current 'living box' is incredibly bad at keeping us warm in the winter and totally lacking in any kind of intelligent design. The big ol house is the Earthship in my dreams which will of course be much more effective in fulfilling its primary purpose of looking after us throughout the year :)
