Mandatory attendance from age 3 is back to normal in France. Good luck keeping them socially distant!
After three months living the way children are supposed to live, it hasn't been easy for Esteban to make the adjustment back to mandatory school attendance here in France.
Even with his fancy new haircut he didn't want to go this morning. Thankfully it's just for a few weeks before Summer holidays! During which there will be some serious discussions about registering both him & Luna for homeschooling. Schools will never be as they once were. Teachers in masks, children kept separate, no playing on swings or climbing frames... I mean, come on. Prisons are more fun than this!

Wow this new normal is terrifying, hopefully it will fade away but seems the system manipulators are intent on keeping society in constant fear of disease now, as if all this nonsense will actually help stop sickness and not just drive everyone to insanity in their newfound ‘freedom’ behind the bars of this tyrannical and unhealthy new normal. Not a life for children, or adults for that matter! Good luck if you go homeschooling route, the way to go in my book in this crazy backwards society as long as the kids can still get good socialization...
Getting good socialization is the tricky bit. We are collecting a small group of kids with parents who feel the same way and getting them together regularly. This seems to be the best course of action for now.
Homeschooling has been happening in this house since the beginning anyway, so no real changes here. Just more time with Esteban :)
Before too long you will find yourself in a community with many children running around which will be a much better place to live form them and the adults!

School in class is over in Portugal.
