"According to a recent research shared with BitKE, Nigerians are the most crypto curious people worldwide according to the latest research by crypto price tracker, CoinGecko.
The research follows yet a recent report by Finder.com which revealed that Nigeria is among the top 20 countries globally with the highest NFT gaming adoption and the first in Africa."

In this video, I discussed reasons why nigerians love crypto.

  • A way to store money
  • A sure way to avoid loss due to devaluation of the Naira (N)

Really interesting!! You are absolutely right Sam, Nigerians love crypto currencies for all the reasons you've mentioned and I will want to add that Nigerians also love crypto currency because it is not acceptable by the government, funny but true if not all Nigerians, most of them.

It's fun to some Nigeria to see something that the government has zero control over and that's one reason me myself and I love crypto currency.

I’ve met a few Nigerians online myself and I’ve seen how curious and interested you guys really are about crypto. People around here have this thing that they say

“if there’s something involving money and crypto and you don’t find Nigerians there, run for your life”

I wish Ghanaians (I’m Ghanaian) were this curious and invested in crypto too. Not just crypto per se, but blockchain as a whole. We’re missing out on a lot of opportunities in the world of web3 because of our lack of enthusiasm and knowledge about crypto

one of the important reason is because our leaders failed us, no good means of generating income, no work and also cost of things. They dont care about us so is better to find those means and way of earning. Crypto shows the way and we are curious to know more.

It couldn't be better said. Crypto is a safe haven for Nigerians looking at the aspect of the Naira devaluation & optimum wealth creation & storage that the government has no control over. Thanks a lot for sharing.
