How can I guarantee my access to heaven?: A Short Guide
Bro Eli established the fact that there are two destinations, heaven and hell. The route to these two destinations can be accessed by man’s choice, as stated in Deuteronomy 30:19. If we choose life, we go to heaven, and if we choose death, we go to hell. However, Bro Eli admonishes us to take the route of life to heaven by expatiating on what the route is about and how to access the route to heaven.
As stated in John 14:6, Jesus is true way to heaven, without which no man can see God. According to Bro Eli’s explanations, we can be sure of going to heaven when we die if we accept Jesus as our personal LORD and Savior. Afterwards, the requirements to maintain our surety as a candidate of heaven is to follow Christ and His statutes. There are several of these guidelines stated in the Bible. Thus, the Bible is our manual to heaven.
As believers, accepting Christ alone does not guarantee our access and sure passage to heaven, but following the steps of our Savior does!
