QEEMA
(edited in canva)
Greetings everyone!
Cooking for friends can be a fun and rewarding experience, and it's even more special when you're living away from home. Recently, I made a delicious qeema dish for my friend who is staying with me in the hostel.
My friend was thrilled with the dish and we enjoyed it together while catching up on our lives. There's something so satisfying about sharing a home-cooked meal with someone you care about. As students, we often rely on quick and easy meals, but taking the time to cook a special dish for a friend can make all the difference. Plus, cooking for others is a great way to hone your culinary skills and experiment with new recipes.
Overall, making qeema for my friend was a wonderful experience that brought us closer together. It's a dish that we'll both remember fondly and maybe even recreate in the future. Cooking for others is a great way to show you care.
If you're looking for a simple and tasty recipe, try making qeema! 😋

➡️1 teaspoon of coriander powder
➡️1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
➡️1 teaspoon of red chili powder
➡️1 teaspoon of garam masala and potato 🥔 (optional)
➡️Salt to taste
➡️2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro

➡️First, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and cook them until they're soft and transparent. Then add the minced garlic and ginger paste and cook for another minute.
➡️Next, add the ground beef and cook until it's browned. Use a spatula to break up any large pieces. Then add the green chilies, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix everything and cook for 2-3 minutes.
➡️Turn the heat down to et the keema simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the garam masala and salt to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Finally, garnish with chopped cilantro.
Serve with rice or naan.
Enjoy! 😋

I'm glad to hear that you find the qeema dish delicious! It's a popular dish in many parts of the world, especially in South Asia. And I can definitely understand why biryani would be your first favorite - it's a classic and flavorful dish that's loved by many.😁♥️(me too)
Have you tried any other dishes from South Asian cuisine that you enjoy?
