Hello Hive!

Today I will share my hostel experience with you guys.

Living in a hostel is an unforgettable experience that I think everyone should have at least once in their lifetime. During my college days, I stayed in a hostel. It was a very wonderful experience and life-changing experience that taught me a lot about how to live independently, how to make friends, and how to manage time.

When I first arrived at the hostel, I felt nervous and unsure of what to expect coz it is natural feelings everyone first to feel uncomfortable at a new place, and the same case with me haha, However, my fears were quickly put to rest as I was welcomed by friendly faces and a warm smile of the warden and my roommates were welcoming and helpful in making me feel at home. Some of them were my school fellows and I already knew them so it was easy for me to interact with them.

We all were from different areas backgrounds and families so it was also a great chance to learn from each other.
We shared our experiences, stories, and laughter, and these interactions made our bond stronger.

The other important thing that living in a hostel taught me is the importance of time management. With a tight schedule and multiple tasks to complete, I had to learn to prioritize my activities and allocate my time wisely. In the starting days, I strictly follow my schedule and timetable that I had made for myself but later I became very lazy 😂and often was spend time with my friends I also did group studies at the hostel with my roommates and then it became very difficult for me to study alone coz I can learn and cover any difficult topic easily in group studies as compared to alone.

The hostel provided a range of facilities, including a common room, a study room( which was also our Tv room and at specific hours we were allowed to watch Tv )a cafeteria, and a mess. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed it and we all set at the same table and share laughter, and jokes and we made fun of each other at the dining table.😆

We also try new recipes in the hostel. At that time I did not know how to cook but now because of the hostel I have become a chef. Now I can cook almost anything.🥂😉

I can't forget my friend Nadia and her tea every day she made me the best cup of tea and even now,I can't forget the taste anymore.
When she comes to our house 🤭 the first thing I ask her to do is make me a cup of tea.

Another important thing is that when we live together there are always up and down in our life and Living in a hostel also came with its fair share of challenges.

As we were a diverse group of people, we sometimes had disagreements and conflicts. However, we learned to communicate effectively and resolve our issues. And I think it is a very good thing and I learned we should always resolve our issues ourselves instead of involving others.

In my hostel we were not allowed to use mobile phones and it was a very difficult period of my life, and also the best time of my life without mobiles and I enjoyed every moment and everything around me.
Our warden in our hostel had a small nokia mobile 😂 and only once a week on saturday we were allowed to call home from this mobile and only once a week we talked to our parents for just five minutes.

Source

I still remember one time my parents didn't call me on time and I cried all night that my warden was not giving me mobile because the call time was over and then in college, my lecturer gave me his mobile to call then I spoke to my parents and I was also very angry with them because how they forgot to call me.

My hostel life was a memorable experience that taught me valuable life skills and helped me make lifelong friends. It was a safe and comfortable environment that allowed me to focus on my studies and personal growth.
I can't forget all those wonderful moments and all my friends. 🥺♥️

Still, there are a lot of things to share and write about but
now I am feeling so tired haha 🙈 (sorry )
I will share all those memories with you guys in my next post.
Stay tuned!

Thanks for reading my post and for your precious time.
Bye -bye

To be honest I also want to live alone just live this in a hostel or whatever a boarding house or bedroom space something. But my school was so close to our house so thats impossible. I could've experience this too if only. The fun on living alone and the fears when you're in need because you donr na have your parents beside you

I understand what you're saying. It's natural to be curious about living alone and experiencing the freedom that comes with it. Maybe you experience it in future
