Anteriormente compartía mi visión acerca de nuestro trato hacia los animales y como siendo seres superiores podemos apartar nuestra ayuda para brindarle mejor calidad de vida. Es por ello que quiero compartirle algunas cosas de cómo son los días junto a mi mascota.
Previously I shared my vision about our treatment towards animals and how being superior beings we can set aside our help to give them a better quality of life. That is why I want to share with you some things about my days with my pet.
Primeramente, ella es Clara Inés. Llegó a nuestra familia hace 8 años y fue una total alegría. Es interesante porque sus anteriores dueños solo la soportaron 3 meses desde que nació, la estaban regalando porque era muy traviesa y su primera reacción por regalarla. Como eran amigos nuestros, nos enteramos y decidimos enseguida adoptarla y hacerla una más de la familia.
First of all, this is Clara Inés. She came to our family 8 years ago and was a total joy. It is interesting because her previous owners only put up with her for 3 months since she was born, they were giving her away because she was very naughty and their first reaction was to give her away. As they were friends of ours, we found out and decided to adopt her and make her one of the family.

Fueron muchas las travesuras que hizo y sigue haciendo, pero cada día nos fuimos dando cuenta de que era muy especial y ella fue acostumbrándose a habitar cada momento junto a nosotros. Desde que llegó a casa empezó a dormir con nosotros, viajar junto a nosotros y estar con nosotros siempre. Nos dimos cuenta de la dependencia que estaba creando ella por nosotros, y fue inevitable, pues no se despegaba.
There were many mischievous things she did and still does, but every day we realized that she was very special and she got used to live every moment with us. From the moment she came home she started to sleep with us, travel with us and be with us always. We realized the dependence she was creating for us, and it was inevitable, because she would not let go.
Fue creciendo y creciendo en su dependencia por su familia, al punto de cuando queda sola en casa, se escuchan los aullidos, manifestando que no le gusta estar sola. Y al llegar a casa su alegría y forma de recibirnos demuestra el amor que tiene hacia nosotros. Así salgamos 5 minutos, pareciera que para ella hubiese sido toda una eternidad donde estuvo separada de su familia.
She grew and grew in her dependence on her family, to the point that when she is left alone at home, you can hear her howling, showing that she doesn't like to be alone. And when we get home, her joy and the way she welcomes us shows the love she has for us. Even if we go out for 5 minutes, it seems that for her it has been an eternity where she was separated from her family.
Cada día que salimos a nuestras responsabilidades y regresamos, sabemos que nos recibirá con desbordes de amor y alegría por el hecho de volvernos a ver en casa. Es súper gratificante ver como un animalito puede desbordar su corazón por nosotros, como lo demuestran con toda libertad, cosa que muchas veces nos cuesta a nosotros que se supone somos seres superiores.
Every day that we go out to our responsibilities and return, we know that they will receive us with overflowing love and joy for the fact of seeing us again at home. It is very gratifying to see how an animal can overflow its heart for us, as they show it freely, something that is often difficult for us who are supposed to be superior beings.
Foto tomada con mi antiguo celularAlgo que debo decir de Clara es que es muy glotona, le encanta comer, y comer de todo. No es de la clase de perros que solo come perrarina o cosas así, no. Ella pide de todo lo que comemos en casa y le gustan las porciones grandes. Por supuesto hay que controlarla porque no debe comer tanto, pero su insistencia es increíble, pareciera que nunca se llena o cansa de comer.
Something I must say about Clara is that she is very greedy, she loves to eat, and eat everything. She is not the kind of dog that only eats dog food or things like that, no. She asks for everything we eat at home and she likes big portions. She asks for everything we eat at home and she likes big portions. Of course we have to control her because she should not eat so much, but her insistence is incredible, it seems that she never gets full or tired of eating.
Al igual que comer, le encanta estar en las camas y muebles, dormir todo lo que pueda, es su pasatiempo favorito, y claro que también le gusta mucho jugar con la pelota. La verdad es una perra maravillosa, bastante loca, pero la amamos. Es fascinante todo lo que podemos llegar a querer a nuestras mascotas, e indudablemente quererlos es valorarlos siempre. Es saber que van a hacer cosas que no nos gustaran, pero que también nos alegra tenerlas con nosotros porque nos hacer mejor la vida.
As well as eating, she loves to be on the beds and furniture, sleep as much as she can, it is her favorite pastime, and of course she also loves to play with the ball. She is a wonderful dog, quite crazy, but we love her. It is fascinating how much we can love our pets, and undoubtedly to love them is to value them always. It is knowing that they will do things that we will not like, but that we are also happy to have them with us because they make our lives better.
Foto tomada con mi antiguo celularMuchos no se sienten preparados para una responsabilidad así por sus trabajos y estilos de vida que quizás no se lo permiten, pero se pierden de tener a alguien que le alegre y distraiga en los momentos más necesitados. Alguien que día tras día demostrará su afecto sincero y transparente. Esa es la vida de nuestras mascotas, es dar y recibir de ese verdadero amor, es hacernos la vida más fácil mutuamente.
Many do not feel prepared for such a responsibility because their jobs and lifestyles may not allow it, but they miss out on having someone to cheer them up and distract them in the most needed moments. Someone who day after day will demonstrate their sincere and transparent affection. That is the life of our pets, is to give and receive that true love, is to make life easier for each other.
