Coffee among the magic of art 🖼 ☕️

A few days ago I went to an exhibition that at first I thought would be a conversation accompanied by samples of coffee from the countryside and such and not that it would be the great activity that it was.
When I saw the promo of the event it immediately captured my attention because it talked about different ways of consuming coffee and I love, I like to live varying and mixing that strong flavor with others to see its resistance in terms of flavor and color.

The event took place at the headquarters of the Alliance Française in my city. It started with a small introduction about coffee in Cuba, what were its origins and from there a small trip about the drink in France.

In a second part I approached the sample table, with which they were explaining and in which there were a series of old objects and necessary in their time for the obtaining and processing of coffee beans.

Samples could be taken from the cup with freshly roasted beans and even taken to you. I couldn't resist trying one, I always see that my grandmother tries them and I wanted to do it, conclusion: it's better to strain it because it doesn't taste good that way.😅

When I went out to the courtyard of the Alliance, the tastings had already begun, various forms of coffee preparation were taking place there:
The first:
Mamajuana coffee, this one was based on brandy, rum, and consequently it felt less sweet, I don't know. The truth was not very much to my liking, I consumed a little and that's it.

The second:
Cut coffee, the cut of a lifetime. The special thing about this one was that you saw the preparation live and direct, too bad I missed it but I still tried one, this was the first one to finish. And the truth is that those responsible for this table apologized because the form of preparation that they were going to expose could not be carried out and improvised.

Third:
Café la alianza, without a doubt this was the best of the afternoon, I was fascinated all its preparation was special. It was a combination of flavors, the powder they used was half Cuban half French and to taste they had honey or normal sugar to sweeten and they also had additions such as cinnamon, anise and cloves.

Everyone wanted to try the alianza coffee and the aroma of it stood out.

In the afternoon they were giving away a necklace that was in tune with the theme: coffee. It was a knitted mug, very nice and creative. A young man was the winner.

And as if the magic of the place could not increase I had become so absorbed in the coffee exhibition that I hadn't realized that there was also an art exhibition of a promising young man from the city in the place. Amazing double.
