Saturday night at Sagobi Satay Culinary Stall (Aceh-Indonesia)
Saturday night is a long night; maybe that sentence is familiar to us, yes the weekend will come. All activities welcome the arrival of Saturday night, even for some people Saturday night is a sacred night.
Likewise with us, one of the traditional culinary centers of Aceh in the city of Lhokseumawe. We spend Saturday night serving more crowded visitors than other days.
If on other nights we spend 15 kilograms of meat for Sate raw materials, then Saturday nights will be doubled. From 15 kilograms to 25 kilograms or even 30 kilograms.
As employees, of course we are happy, with more jobs, of course, the daily money given by our boss increases.
The bustle at the Sate Sagobi culinary stall can be seen on Saturday nights, and that's not unreasonable. Many visitors choose to spend time while enjoying culinary satay with their families. Yes, that's why we said, the portion of Sate that will run out will be more than usual.
If you do the calculations, in one month there are 4 Saturday nights, meaning that in 1 month we get 4 times the bonus in receiving daily incentives from the boss. That's not all; boss will also buy various kinds of food for us, yes you could say it's podding.
We are happy to spend a Saturday night with visitors who enjoy Sate Sagobi. And this is a motivation for us to face tomorrow.
In the culinary business, if a few customers come, not only do we receive little incentive, we sometimes even seem sorry for the food that is wasted because it doesn't sell well.
The risk in selling food is like that, to maintain quality, the quantity wasted is of course the consequence.
