Sin duda alguna a nadie le gusta llegar en segundo lugar, para muestra el final del mundial. Dos equipos maravillosos que dieron su mejor esfuerzo, en buenas condiciones físicas y le dieron la espalda a los ganadores. Llegar de segundo parece ser malo pero la realidad es que estuvieron a un tris de lograrlo. Yo que no sé mucho de fútbol se que recostar un equipo de un solo jugador estrella, eso no hace goles a la final, se requiere una estrategia para lograr metas.

Llegar de segundo es el que lo intenta y es el que llega más cercano a la meta.

Muchas veces en la vida tenemos muchas opciones para lograr metas, ponemos sobre nuestra mesa la opción uno y dos. Porque siempre tenemos posibilidades para cambiar el camino y lograr llegar a nuestros objetivos. Sin duda alguna una persona prevenida siempre tiene diferentes salidas.

De hecho soy una persona que cuando llega a un nuevo lugar lo primero que ubico son las salidas de emergencia. ¿Yo no se si ustedes son así? Y toman esas medidas para emergencias. Así una segunda salida siempre será bien pensada.

ENGLISH VERSION

Without a doubt, no one likes finishing second—take the World Cup final, for instance. Two wonderful teams gave it their all and were in peak physical condition, even if one ultimately fell short of the win. Finishing second might seem like a bad thing, but the reality is that they came within a hair's breadth of victory. Even though I don't know much about soccer, I know that a team can't rely on just one star player to score goals and reach the final; achieving goals requires a strategy.

Finishing second means you tried—and you came closer to the goal than anyone else.

In life, we often have multiple options for achieving our goals; we weigh our choices—option one, option two—because we always have the possibility of changing course to reach our objectives. Undoubtedly, a prudent person always has alternative exits in mind.

In fact, whenever I arrive at a new place, the first thing I locate is the emergency exits. I don't know if you’re the same way, but taking those precautions for emergencies means having a well-considered backup plan.
