A friend nearby

We are living village life for about 5 years now. A reverse immigration that had so many challenges for us. One of them was and still is communication with local people. You can't live anonymous and private in villages. People are very curious. They want to know everything about you. Your life style, your origion, your age, your occupation.. everything!
First years were more difficult cause we didn't know the logic behind their culture and we constantly compared it with the model of communication in big cities. Now our judgments are more fair and we found ways to live more comfortable here.
One of the things that bothered me a lot was not having a friend who i can talk to. But in the past few months I've found a good one!
Her name is Fateme. We have a huge age difference but it's not deal breaker. We are good friends who understand each other. I learn from her and she enjoys spending time with me. We have a lot in common and differences that makes our friendship more interesting.
Few days ago i went to her hause. Her mother came from work too but her presence didn't bother us.
We all used face mask. It was a tranquil warm girly atmosphere.

Fateme's mother raise chicken for the living. We noticed that some of the new born chickens got wet and they are unwell so we separate them and put them on the heater.

After a while we removed our masks and here's the result.

Her mother was exhausted from the hard work (she also works at the rice field) and she fell asleep. She told fateme the recipe of a traditional food and we prepared the dinner together.

After a while we all eat dinner together. Fateme also put aside a plate of that delicious food for @kam5iz

Chickens came back to life miraculously!

It's great to hear that you have found a good friend in Fateme, it can be hard to adjust to village life and find someone to connect with, but it sounds like you two have a special bond, when it comes to friendship, age is just a number.
I hope your relationship with Fateme continues to grow and that you both continue to learn from each other.

The village life and the city life are very different and not easy to adjust in other if you are adopted to any one of these. Glad that you found a good friend and you spend some quality time with her.
