Oh look, a treasure box!

Last night one little fellow felt way too restless to go to bed, so mommy had to find something for him to examine, satisfy his endless hunger for exploration and finally get him tired enough to go to bed after a while.

This time the inspiration came from the kitchen drawers!!!

Little Man has already dug through the last two drawers, but hadn't had the chance of going through the upper two because he may be tall enough to reach the handles and pull them out, but he can't see what's in them or couldn't until a few months back. Yesterday we realized that he could see inside the second drawer while standing on his toes.

Mommy wanted to give him a hand and brought the stepper he used to help him get up on the bed in the past. The view was much clearer after that and he had more freedom of movement to look inside that drawer and go through all his mommy's stuff.

Tin foil, baking paper, unused plastic spoons, tongs, weird bottle caps and a lot more other things that their use remains a mystery to his little baby eyes! This drawer mommy had been keeping closed in her kitchen for so long was a true chest of wonders!! And miraculously that chest of wonders kept him busy for almost twenty minutes, if not longer, and then it was time mommy took him in the bedroom and breastfed him to sleep without cries, moaning or jumping on the bed.
