Easter crafts for little hands!

My boy helped me make Easter presents for his grandparents this year!!

My mum is not much of a handcraft person and rarely made crafts with me and my sister when we were kids (she would have us help her around the kitchen a lot though, explaining why I like cooking so much), I have always loved preparing handmade gifts for my loved ones. That's why I try to do easy crafts with Little Man for presents, which not only satisfies my passion for handcrafts, but also helps his creativity, fine motor skills, builds beautiful memories and offer us precious bonding time together. For this one, he used his coloring pencils to paint some eggs and helped me cut and glue them in those cute Easter baskets! He also added a little color to these bunnies, although he didn't seem much interested in coloring them. He preferred to run around the house holding one in his little hands yelling "Bunny!! Bunny!!" (or more precisely "ka-kee-a" which is his word for koonelaki - bunny in Greek).

In order for his beautiful handcrafts to last through time, I used my laminating machine. A piece of ribbon on top and they were ready!! I also added some cord behind the ribbon so that the baskets could be hanged on the wall.

Of course I made one to keep as a memento and next year I'm gonna show it to him before making something new! He may not remember much, but I bet he will be excited the way he was this year while coloring those white eggs together.
