We Get to Have Fun with My Brothers Kids During the New Year Celebration! Selfies and more!

Being surrounded by kids laughing and hearing their cute voices, this is the best music that one can ever hear. Would you agree? I never thought that I would really like my nieces and nephews like this, because, seriously, I don't like kids that much. But my brother's kids are an exception to that. They are just lovely cuties that I want to babysit.

New Years is like the normal day except there's good food to feast on later, there's even cake and fruits, which can only happen in this kind of event. It is also like last Christmas, but the difference this time is that we have visitors that completed our new year, which makes it a happier new year. But before that, let me just share what we did before the main events.

I already shared what we did the day before New Year in this article, you know, preparation and such. Once we gathered all the ingredients we needed, we proceeded with cooking it. As I've mentioned, we only prepared this kind of dish for this kind of occasion. It was supposed to be just one dish, which is pork caldereta, but then Mommy F requested the dish called "Batchoy Tagalog," which is one of our favorites. We don't cook this often and just make it for special events like Christmas or the New Year.

Here are some of the main ingredients: Pork liver is really good, we avoid it as much as possible, though, because of Mommy F, who has high blood pressure. I think we only eat this once a year. It's good dish, seriously, but we don't want to take a risk. And it's one of Mom's favorites, sad she can't have it all the time, lol. But it's for her own good anyway. And aside from the ingredients above, we also put pork meat, potatoes, and vinegar in it. Mommy D mixes a liver's spread on top to make it more flavorful. This is also one of the reasons why we don't cook it often, the ingredients are too much and expensive, lol.

And for the next dish, it's called Caldereta Mom's Version. And here are the main ingredients. It's a dish that has vegetables on it, well, it's also for Mommy F, so that Mommy F can still limit herself to taking more pork meat. Although the pork meat's juices and fats are already mixed, I still think it's okay as long as she doesn't eat a lot.

And this is also one of the dishes we love to eat. Although we had this a lot more times than the other one, this one is still more special because we put other ingredients here that we didn't put in the one we already consumed. It's yummier too because it's a special day, uwu.

Anyway, regarding the cooking, I helped Mommy D cook this. And these are the finished products, they don't just look good because they literally taste good. I wish I could make you all try it, sad we don't have magic to do that, lol. So, yeah, we enjoyed it so much. It's good to pair it with rice, but I limit my consumption of rice. Because you know I ate a lot of cake, lol. It should be balanced, yeah, just a little bit of balance, haha. But either way, I really enjoyed the dishes we prepared. Well, it was cooked by Mommy D, so it's expected, hihi. We are expecting that my brother will visit us, so we have prepared this much.

But it's already 3 p.m., and they are still not here. I'm kind of disappointed because I really bought the cake for them, especially the kids, and I'm thinking that they won't visit anymore. That's what we really thought, but they finally arrive at 3:44 p.m. My oldies get a little busy when they arrive because there's a customer outside. I haven't noticed it yet, but Mom called my name when they arrived, and when I check, it's them. It's my niece and nephew, and my brother with his partner. And I was like, finally, lol.

The baby boy is kind of having a tantrum in the first picture, haha, and he doesn't want to be put down. He only wants to be in her momma's arms. I didn't dare carry him because I don't know how to carry a kid. And I'm afraid that I might drop him. I always have that thought, you know. It's sad that I never carried this baby boy even once. But I already did that to the two girls. Piaya is also one who wants to be carried always back when she's still a baby, but not anymore. Same with Queeny. Gosh, they are really lovely babies, they really take my beauty, that's for sure. Of course, I'm just kidding, lolol. I'm just cute, they are the prettiest.

We are really happy to welcome them in the house, look at Mom so happy taking a picture with them, and as always, I'm the forever photographer. And yeah, that's my brother with his big family, they are bigger now as they have three kids. Now Mama doesn't have to ask me and my other brother to give them a kid because that's impossible to happen. But we never know, let's see in the future, lol.

And here's a selfie with them. It amazes me that they are very good now at making a pose, and it also pleases me that whenever I want to take a picture of them, they are always ready and always have a smile on their lips. Which, for me, is the best when taking a photo. You know, while I'm taking their photos, I am giving them a lot of compliments too. I think they are used to taking photos now that they know what to do. Which is really awesome.

We were sad to let them go, but there are things they have to do too. They only stay with us for, like, 30 minutes. They only ate a slice of cake and got a little talking with them. I learned that they will only stay here until January 4, which is tomorrow. For sure, they are taking their sweet time bonding with their kids (✿ ♡‿♡).

Anyway, this is surely one of the best new years for us. I hope to see them again soonest. ⁽⁽ଘ( ˊᵕˋ )ଓ⁾⁾
