Made My Way To The Yard To Feast On Fresh Guavas -Dip in a Salt and Boogsh!

I'm craving for guava, though we have two trees of guava in our yard, I don't really pick and eat them. I dunno, I think I overeaten it during childhood that I am tired of it now? Lolol. But kidding aside, its been years since I last had guava. Its actually one of my favorite back when I was a kid. Did I ever mention here that I ate them directly on top of the tree and without washing it? Oh such a good memory.

I remember eating the bigger version of guavas, almost the size of a mango. Its from a relative and I like that too. I love eating its seeds. And, when I eat guava I don't actually peel its skin because even that is good for me. The only thing I throw from a guava was its head or the one connecting to the tree. Haha

Now, its time to pick some guavas! Whats amazing in this guava trees are, even though the fruits are still in the size of lanzones, they will easily ripen which is a good thing. When two tree produce more friits, tyats when Mama will make guava jam. Really good for hot pandesal or monay, hihi

So I first checked both tree to see if there are already ripe guavas. Luckily I found in the old guava tree they're small but they are just the right size for me.

I picked four cute sized guavas and two cats, lol. One of them has already that soft skins, meaning, they are super duper ripe already. Not my tyoe but I picked it anyway. When it comes to guava, I want them not super ripe, just enough ripeness and still has that kabaaaaaam crunchiness

Like this....yep, I took a bite right immediately. Thats the best way to eat it yk. Lolol. Just nom, nom and chew.

But there's actually a better way to eat guava, dip it in salt! The sweetness will be enhanced and seriously, I just love fruits with sprinkled salt in it. Not too much of course coz it would be just too salty. Just enough seriously! The other fruit I dip in salt is watermelon, mango, apple, orange, sinturis, siniguelas and some more that I forgot. Who wants guava?

So after filling my stomach with fresh guavas, I just had a fun walk in the yard with the cats. I also check the mushrooms growing on the dead part of Atis tree and man, they are still growing. Maybe this is safe to eat? Or not? Its been raining here for days now, but today we just have a gloomy weather and light rain from time to time. And I think thats the reason this thing are growing more. Cool!

Then I also saw one small eggplant, mama already harvested one too the other day. Like, why can't they grow together? Why one by one? Lolol

And lastly, look how taller this ginger now. Its leaves is crazy big. But thanks to that mama can use it into something. While preparing lunch, mama use the ginger leaves again to grill some fish liver haha. Now if only the root will be as healthy and nice its leaves, mama can sell them. But since they turn grayish or bluish the last time, mama leave them like this and now it just regrow here. Do you think, its color will change?
