[LOH-291] My Biggest Supporter, My Number One Ally, and A Good Listener -That's My Amazing Ate

I remember college, those times -yep, not just once or twice but its a struggle every sem. I used to beg to my Ate Riza and Mama to give me money to use on a project, to pay and give my contribution on it, specially on small projects though doesn't required much money but its still a need to finish it and of course to show that I get involve, its same with our thesis. Our thesis is what's the hardest because there's just a lot of do and everything just required money and that's what I always lack.

Its my Auntie or Mommy F who pay for my study, she's the one who invest in it but I feel like, she had no idea that it is not just all about the tuition but also the miscellaneous fees that we have to spend on. Whenever I will ask for her, she always has this doubting look, thinking if I really need it or it is a requirements. There are times that I just don't ask anything from her and would just ask my sister or my biological mom. I think I also have a lil right to ask them help no?

But you know, it was Mommy F who pulled me in my mama's arms to take care of me, there's no legal adoption but they treat my like their own daughter, we're living in a same roof, so I think it is just right that they take care of me while i'm studying. But no, I am thankful but that time, during those hardest times I feel just like crying, I still have ro beg and explain to them that its for school, its not for my vices or whatever, its for school! But they are deaf to my explanation.

There are times that before my Auntie would give me something, she will have this long line of blablabla and blablabla until my ears bleed before they will give me anything. Like, who will get motivated to study if they are not rhat supportive to me? Instead of supporting and encouraging me, there they are, giving their criticism and doubt as if I want those school expenses. Like, did I wish for it?

Its the school who requires it but why do I have to suffer like that? Why do I have to cry a river first before they give me what I need? Its a NEEDS. Its really not helpful too that Auntie's new partner is like an instigator who'll stir up trouble and made my Auntie doubt me even more, if what I really said is true or not. And you know, she knows the struggles of a college students because she experience it. Hahh!

It is just a good thing that my Ate Riza is there because I can sometimes ask help for her. I feel like she gave me more helps than my own mother. And this is also why I am forever grateful for her. I just wish she's still here with us to show that immense gratitude. She's the only one who I can run to whenever i'm lost and just don't know what to do anymore because of the expenses in school. I am so eager to contribute even just with money because my Auntie won't allow me to do overnight.

With my Ate Riza, I can complain with her. She didn't just support me financially but also mentally. I do it too with my real Mom too btw, that time, Ate Riza is my only ally who can understand me. I know she too is struggling, what she experience is not a joke too, imagine working at a young age, leaving home just to reach her dreams. In other words, My Ate Riza become like a role model to me. Her comforting words always help me always taking my side and i'm really grateful

In that world of mine, that particular moments in my life, she become like, a light that light that already dark path i'm taking. At least walking there alone is not scary anymore thanks to Ate Riza. Thinking about it now, it is not just me who received help from Ate Riza. She helped my lil and big brother too to find job in Lipa and that's why they are living in there now. Our Ate Riza's time with us maybe is short, but she surely is a blessing and a wonderful ate/sister to us. I miss her ⊙⁠﹏⁠⊙
