I Found a Gem of a Place on Our Way to the Market: A Peaceful and Quite Place to Have a Walk

A small walk becomes more enjoyable when you do it with the people you're close with, whether with friends, family, relatives, or maybe your partner. I mean, having a walk while talking or gossiping is also a great bonding activity, and it's best to do that with the person you are close with. And you can also have great company on that short but meaningful walk.

So just like usual, I had my walk with Mama, and seriously, this is really the best time to have a chat with her too. I heard a lot of "chika" from her, some are about her vacation in Romblon, but some are just the same old story. Mama can be so forgetful sometimes that she forgets that she already shared this one particular "gossip" with me. As for me, I will just pretend to be surprised or delighted upon hearing it and will give her the same reaction just until she jumps into the next topic.

But either way, I had a great time talking to my mama. I mean, she's away in Mindoro for 22 days, so I also missed our bonding moment like this. And today, this afternoon, we got the chance to have a short walk and chat again. It's really just the usual walk going to the market. We just made a detour this time and took a different route too, as she said, it's been a long time since we last took "that" route.

But first things first, while taking this route here, this is the other side of the elementary school, and they really plant a lot of plants, even on different parts of the school. We also do this, and there are just some plants that can climb up no matter how high they are as long as they can attach to something, like, for example, a fence. I like this vegetable here with its pretty flowers. It's called "Patola" in our place, it's also called Silk Squash or Ribbed Loofah. Are you familiar with this? It's the best with sardines and misua, or wheat vermicelli. I can eat a lot if that's the dish on our table. It's a must-try!

It's growing and still spreading, and look at those, soon they will be in full bloom, and the kids can finally harvest the fruits of their labor. And that's the fun part of all this. I also saw different kinds of vegetables in some parts of the school, and they all looked beautiful.

And as we moved forward, I noticed this street vendor that sells different kinds of street foods. I am so tempted to buy some, but aside from the fact that I'm still full, I can't afford to just spend right now. I can just have them again, maybe next time. But it's hard to resist it, especially since those balls are getting my attention. But I must say goodbye for now, lol.

And as some of you know, we just celebrated Fiesta here at our place and in this place where the night market was located. Some stalls are still here, but some are already clearing theirs, just like this. I hope they were able to sell a lot of their items here in Bansud. Although, as I see it, with the number of times we visited the night market, food stalls gain more popularity here than those stalls that sell different products.

I didn't know that Bansudeños are more of a foodies (≧▽≦). Well, I for one also visit the night market in search of a food to try, I mean, it is more fulfilling to the stomach, no? More enjoyable too, if I may add,.

By the way, this is the other side of the elementary school where we went a while ago. And these are what you can see on the back side of each room. They even have a banana tree, some plants, and vegetables like okra. Actually, Mother picked a dried okra from one of the trees, as she said she wanted to try planting it in her mini garden. I have no update yet, but I'll check it out one of these days.

Now, for our next destination, we're going to the market because Mama has to buy feeds for her beloved chicken. And my look, this part of Poblacion has changed too, like the newly built building in here. They have paint now and soon, this for sure will be usable to those who rent this place to open up something.

It's actually a good spot here because not far from here is an elementary school and the PUP campus, the city hall is also close by. If some people decide to open a restaurant or maybe a cafe, I think it will be popular with them, "I think." Then they also have that "Free Delivery" thingy, and that would be super amazing!

So anyway, instead of going straight ahead on the road, we take the other road, which can also lead us to the public market. And look how beautiful this route is. I love the tall trees on both sides. It looks cleaner, and the fact that it was surrounded by nature is what makes it more wonderful.

For sure, people who live here or those who take this path feel calmer with the kind of scenery it has. For someone who lives close to the highway, which is really noisy at times, this kind of environment is a paradise to me. If only there were land here that was affordable, I would buy my own lot here to build our home. It's a perfect spot, what do you say? Ehe.

And here's more, each house has its own little garden, inside and outside. Sad, I can't just barge in to take a photo of their pretty and colorful garden, lol. I enjoy looking around on this part of the road on the way to the public market. Seriously, every time that we take this road, there are always some changes, which is actually an amazing thing.

So not far from the main road was this Wawit Ice Cream. I know them because they sell Halo-Halo and ice cream. I still remember that the owner used to sell his ice cream using his bike and, soon, his motorcycle. But now he has his own shop for it. Their business is booming, which is good for them. I'm sure it happens because they work hard for it.
