Helping Motherbels In Harvesting Her Papaya: Homegrown Papayas Straight from the Yard to the Vegetable Stand

Mama's been saying that she will let all the papayas ripe and eat it. But then today, she decides to sell a few of them because the tree is getting heavier and she's afraid that it may fall due to heavy passengers (papayas) lolol. It's sad though that they only buy Papaya for 10 pesos per kilo, that's $0.16 only and though it's cheap, she still decided to sell some.

We went to the market to buy Mommy F a fish for lunch. Lucky us because we found some which is also a little cheaper today.

I also bought a tie of string beans for 15 pesos. I'm thinking of making Adobong Sitaw tomorrow. I already cut them into pieces
Mama asked her favorite stall owner in the market while i'm buying the string beans. I mean, that's when she asked the price of green Papaya.

And when we get home, she mentioned it about me and so I helped her harvesting a few green Papayas from the tree.

Harvesting them are so easy, she didn't even use a knife to pick them up. And did y'all see how much papaya are in there? There's a lot, but if you'll look at the lower part, they are the biggest ones because well, they are the first to sprout there.

But mama picked those in the middle because the ones on the lower part might ripen soon. She's been waiting for that very moment so that she can finally eat them. If I will eat a papaya, I want them not too ripen, I want it just the right ripeness. How about you gosh? I really don't like the texture of a ripened papaya, I feel like their poop, hahaha -sorry about that, excuse meeee ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

And so, Mama we're able to harvest a few of them, there's big and small ones. When they weigh it, its 6 kilos. Not bad, she got 60 pesos for tham, just almost a dollar in today's USD/PHP rate.

Anyways, look who's watching us while we're busy here hahaha. I mean, they're really watching Mama, their favorite hooman, lol. It's just cute and adorable to be honest. They're in a group near the eco bag where I put the papayas. Hehe. Such precious moments with the puppies ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Mama arrived after selling it and she casually started gathering woods and cut them up. The tree she's cutting here is actually the one that she's been ignoring since last year. She said, this kind of tree is not that easy fire and that its all smoke or something. But then, coz she couldn't find any wood anymore, she decided to try it.

And she discovered how good it is as a firewood. Haha. This was lying near the wire fence and that spot has often received a good sunlight so it was dried good for a very long time. Thanks to that she has more woods stack up that she can use in cooking ƪ(‾.‾“)┐
