Happy TWOgether: Sharing the Freshness and a Sip of Young Coconut with Mamabels -Ready the Cup!

The other day, someone harvested coconuts maybe to sell or eat, but whatever. Its near our house and we can see them from our yard because the dogs are also barking at them. Mama told me that a few fall in the water but they didn't pick the one coconut that fall near our land even though its just a one jump and few step away from them. And so they leave that one there and Mama decides to go down and pick it. Hahaha. I mean, its a free coconut, would you ignore it if its just so close to your door? Lol

There it is, it is a big one and mama said it is a young coconut. I can already imagine how sweet its juiced is especially its been just a day since it was harvested. It'll be awesome though if its coconut meat is a lil thicker, I enjoyed that more especially if it has milk in it. (☆▽☆)

So what's the beat thing to do there but to open it. So using her "gulok" mama open it and I am just waiting there, holding my drinking cup hahaha. I mean, even if I want to help, I can't, I am not strong enough to open that and using her dull gulok lol. Nahhhh, I might cut my finger if I try it. Lol. Ahhh, but I can open a matured coconut though it may takes 20 minutes? HAHAHA

So after 10000 secondo, its open. Looks good, looks good. I think its meat is much thicker this time -hoping here ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

Yep, not bad, really not bad. At least, its thicker compare to the one we got last time, lol -that one's free too. Lol. But we got more that time, this time is just one. Still, its FREE, so, we're grateful to the one who chose not to pick this one up lol. But some spots has thinner coconut meat. And so I tasted the thicker side first. Its really been a while. But why this thing has more skin rather that its meat? Its should be the other way around no? Lol. But then again, it is really just made like that coz they tend to grow taller, the tree I mean. So even if they fall from the top to the ground, it won't get get cut open or something. Make sense right?

This coconut really made me happy. Love that we get to bond through this thing. And while mama is cutting it open, i'm teasing her that she's so lucky coz she got this one first and not Ka Ricky who often visit that spot as well. There are times that he get the chance to pick the coconut that fall on the water. Lol.

Anyways, during our afternoon walk today, we spotted a ciconut vendor that sells it. I heard a piece of this cost 50 pesos, not so sure with this one coz I didn't check the price. I think the price is not bad especially they will open it for you. They will even provide a cup or you can just bring your own pitcher. And aside from that, they also sell them per cold and its cold. The price is ranging from 10 to 30 depends on what size of cup that you want. But imagine it, we got them just for free today, lolol. This is enough reason to make us happy. Ehehe ෆ⁠╹⁠ ⁠.̮⁠ ⁠╹⁠ෆ
