Getting Comfortable in My Sit with My Old Romance Book and Spicy Peanut -Kinda Been A While!
I'm browsing my phone to find a new manhwa that I can read but I just can't find anything that fits to my current mood. I know they all are good, some of them are just a reread but I dunno why I can't get to it today. Like, why I found everything boring here? And so...I put my phone down, and clean a lil bit in my room especially under my bed. I also throw my trash bag, though its not full yet. Its mostly just tissues and shampoo's packaging. When I finish cleaning I just sat down and roam my eyes to my lil room. Then my eyes landed onto this box.
If I was my teenage me, I never dare to put this on top of my clothes organizer, where it will be visible to the eyes of my Mommy F. She hates whats inside it...no, no, actually, she hate that I dare to read it especially the content of the thing could be bad for a minor. I know that then, but, what to do? This whats saves me from my miserableness back when I am still afraid of her and my heart is full of hatred and jealousy. Yep, i've been into that era, surely, not just me? Hihi.
What's inside this box is what I considered a "treasure" that I can never throw away, especially they are part if my growth. I checked all the book inside the box and see if I can still remember each books. To be honest, I read these books a lot of times when I was a teenager and I can name each characters especially those I love. But when I read their synopsis today...hahhh, I can't remember anymore. Lol
So I get two books inside, its a series with part 1 and 2. Its a Stallion Series, one of my favorite series from Sofia and Sonia Francesca. I actually can't remember now if I already finish the whole series but I think I did (〒﹏〒). I have here the Myco Gosiaco story.
And yes, this story was written in Tagalog with a mix of English too. This is actually a reason why I was so confident when I cuss into someone online. I used some lines here especially this "you ba*tard!" I am already proud back then coz my enemy can't say much when I used english bad words. Lololol
So, I started reading the pocketbook excitedly. After reading just a few pages, I finally remember something about the story. Though I remember somw, I know I still need to read the whole story. I got into it immediately. Though it is different from manhwa. I still feel that kilig when they describe a handsome and pretty main character, I can picture them in my head. Hihi
Hahhh, I really love when there's a combination of romance and comedy in one story. Its a bonus when there's actually an action. This story is about Olympia Montez, a sought after journalist who wants to save the world. She got an info about a terrorist that is being protected in Stallion Riding Club. As a Journalist, she think it is her responsibility to save the world so she pretended as a ambitious housekeeper to get inside the club. She successfully get inside and that's when she learned a lot -and she also learned how to love...lol. This kind of story before is really so good to me. (≧▽≦)
It is so good that i'll read it even at the dark and with just a glint if light coming from a lighter, lol. I mean, I love it but I also need to hive from the oldies, or else ...Mommy F will surely keep this or worst, destroy it.
But anyways, I can read romance pocketbook now even in front of them, "no one, nobody can stop me!" Ehe. I even had peanuts while reading it. Ehe. Hahhhh, to be free is really nice. At the same time, I get to be in that magical world when reading a romance physical book. I'll check the others more once I finish this two book. I also miss Vanessa, Arielle, Camilla's books (and more) so...(◕ᴗ◕✿) i feel good today ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
