Found Yah! It's Hiding Under the Old and Dry Banana Leave Waiting to Be Found!

I accidentally discovered it while having a walk in the garden and just by chance because of my curiosity. Good thing I didn't die because of my curiosity, because what if it is a snake that I found and not "this," no? Lol. But I know it is also impossible to have a snake on that part, so everything ended well, and I got a bonus mushroom, so all is well.

Tadaaaaaaan! Found it! They grow in an old tree that was cut down before and was just leaning on the jackfruit tree, which I think is a support for that tree. As you can see, the tree is really old, and it is fascinating that a new life was found there - a new life of a mushroom that I am not sure of what it's called. Do you have any idea what it is?

I was minding my own business here when the dog walked closer to me. I'm not sure if he just wants to be included in the picture or he is just mad because I am touching something that's not mine. Or is he mad that I removed those banana leaves? Lol. Anyhow, this mushroom looks a little wider and flat, is it white or creamy white? And it really looks like just a piece of paper. I'm just wondering if I can write in there using a ballpoint pen.

It feels like these were used as paper before to pass a message somewhere, you know, like a love letter, haha. Unique, but you can only write a small "I ❤️ U" here not even a whole I LOVE YOU. Is that even enough to relay your true feelings to the one receiving them? Hahaha (≧▽≦), what am I ever saying now? A mushroom as paper? Come on, they are too soft for that, right? Right? Lol.

I think these are also a different variety from the first photo above, they look different. And by the way, when I asked Aunt Velyn, she said it was a "Taingang Daga." Maybe they named it like that because some mushrooms were similar to mouse ears. I'm not sure, but this one I found doesn't look like one. I tried to look up "taingang daga" on the internet, and I think they look not similar at all. I am not sure if this is edible or not. But even if someone says that it is edible, I won't still eat it, especially since I am not familiar with it. Even Aunt Velyn is not sure if it is edible or not.

This one is thicker compared to the first photo and has a different color too, now I'm not sure if they are really the same. Maybe it's just the way they grow, or ^_^. I don't know, let's stop thinking about it. Let's leave the thinking stuff to the readers, lol. I'm sure you are all familiar with it. Maybe? And I am the only one who doesn't know anything about it. All I know is that it is called a mushroom, and they are pretty. Some are edible, some are not, and some are poisonous too, yeah?

It's sad, though, that some beautiful things can be bad things. It just shows that not all beautiful things in the world can be trusted, just like people. Not all people who show kindness to you are real, some have just ulterior motives for choosing to do it. It's also sad how a beautiful relationship can turn into an ugly one. But I guess that's just how some things are. Some are just meant to be broken, you can just be thankful in the end if you find it early. You can separate yourself from those kinds.

Anyhow, the mushrooms at our place are all smaller than this. I also want to see something bigger in our yard, but all I can see is just a little bigger than a few small coins. Though they are cute and all, discovering a new variety could be good too. I guess I just have to find it harder next time.

This is the smaller version of the mushroom I saw in our yard, it's cute, no (≧▽≦). really, really tiny.

Wow. Thank you for sharing these images ma'am @ruffatotmeee Such beautiful pieces of mushroom. That is also abundant in our place. I only know a few of the mushrooms that can be eaten. I tried eating a mushroom called kabuting saging. It is so delicious that for me it tastes better than meat.

Whoa, that's a lot of them. I'm curious what kind of mushroom they are. Why I can't experience that in our yard (≧▽≦)
