A Sweet Treat for my Family: The Most Expensive and the Best Banana Bread I Ever Had! And it's a Double Choco!

I didn't indulge myself with milk tea, but I got banana Banana Bread which is more expensive than milk tea. Crazy, right? Lol.

I was browsing on Facebook the other day, and then I saw a certain post from a page advertising their special banana bread. It says, we can just message them if we want to order, and it will be available on Sunday. What really caught my attention was the picture of those deliciously good-looking banana breads, particularly the Double Choco flavor. I didn't even know who owned that page and sold that banana bread, but I had the urge to try it. It really looks good, and it's like they really use real chocolate in it and not just food coloring (≧▽≦). And it comes in three different flavors, which is awesome as there are choices.

Anyhow, I immediately tap the Message button to ask how much my desired flavor of banana bread is. After seeing the reply, I was like, w(°ｏ°)w. Then I thought, If it is that expensive, I bet they really use good-quality ingredients in it. The price for the Banana Bread Double Choco was 180 PHP, or $3.17. What do you think? Is it expensive or just right in price? Because for me, it is expensive, well, just for me. But I think that with its size and taste, I can say that the money I paid for it was all worth it and the price is just right.

Then Sunday came, and just to check, I asked the seller what the delivery time was, and the seller replied that it would be in the afternoon. So I said, Okay, it's a good snack with my oldies later. I am anticipating it, and I am so excited to receive it. And waiting for it seems like eternity. I want to taste it already! Lol. But it's already 2:30 p.m., but it's still not here. So I decided to take a bath first while waiting. Actually, I really want to receive the banana cake because I want to know if I will recognize the one who will deliver it. I'm just curious, you know.

Unfortunately, she arrived when I was currently taking a bath, so I didn't see her face. Mom received it, and when I asked, she said that she has curly hair. And I think that's where their name came from, it's a cute name, though Curl 'N Rolls. It's sad that I couldn't learn who owned this, but I can just check it again later. Yes! I have plans to order from them again next time. I love their bread so much that I want to buy it again. This time, I'll try ordering the other flavor, which is the overloaded one with almonds.

By the way, let me just correct it, they only have two flavors, the other one is actually just a combination of the Double Choco and the Overloaded Banana Bread, and they call it Choco Swirl. And these two flavors are much cheaper compared to the Double Choco Banana Bread. I'm not sure about the price, but I know it is lower than the first one. Which is favorable to me as I can try them too next time I order (人 •͈ᴗ•͈).

Now for the taste, I love that it is not too sweet and just has enough sweetness in it. And guys, you can taste real chocolate in it, that I think is thanks to the chocolate chips in it, and because of that, it tastes a little bitter, like the taste of dark chocolate. That's why I want to buy this again soon. I just love its taste. As for the texture, it is soft, just like a cake. There's a leftover from yesterday, so I put it in the fridge, and it tastes even better.

I know that this will be good paired with coffee, but I'm limiting my caffeine intake right now. I don't want to become addicted to it, which is why. And as I've said, I received the banana bread that afternoon, so if I had coffee, I might have a hard time sleeping at night. So, I only pair it with water. It'll be good too with milk drinks, I'll do this next time, that's for sure.

Now, this is what we call a sweet treat. I only do this every once in a while, like being compulsive, and will just suddenly decide to get it no matter what the price. But making this a habit will surely leave me broke, so as much as possible, I put a limit on when I can be like this. It's really hard to stop myself sometimes, but every time it happens, I can just say that it's worth it and I deserve it. Which is true, I think, especially if it's once in a blue moon only.

For now, I can say that I am happy that I decided to buy it. Even my oldies and Mama loves it, it makes them happy. Actually Mama is asking for more, lol. But there's only nine slice of it and I had three, ehermmm and two each with oldies. I better order for more of this soon (≧▽≦).
