Lantern with Recycled Materials / Farol con Materiales Reciclados

¡Hola, amigos de DIYHub! Un placer como siempre estar con ustedes y compartir una manualidad muy bonita y sencilla con materiales reciclados. Se trata de un farol decorativo. Veamos los materiales y el paso a paso.
We will need / Vamos a necesitar:
- Caps for different types of bottles / Tapas de diferentes tipos de botellas
- Liquid silicone and scissors / Silicón líquido y tijeras
- Butter container / Envase de mantequilla
- Cardboard pipe / Tubo de cartón
- Black paint and paintbrush / Pintura negra y Pincel
- Recycled plastic bottle / Botella plástica reciclada
We start by painting the butter container black. We apply several coats if necessary, until the piece is well covered.
Iniciamos pintando el envase de mantequilla de color negro. Damos varias capas si es necesario, hasta cubrir muy bien la pieza.
Similarly, paint the lids black. You will need about three lids of different sizes, in this case each one larger than the other.
Del mismo modo, pintamos las tapas de color negro. Necesitaremos unas 3 tapas de diferentes tamaños, en este caso cada una más grande que la otra.
Next, cut a ring from the recycled cardboard tube, which will be the handle to our lantern; paint it black and set it aside.
Paso seguido, cortamos un aro del tubo de cartón reciclado, el cual será el asa de nuestro farol; lo pintamos de negro y reservamos.
Now we are going to take a plastic bottle, in this case a juice bottle, and cut off the top, as shown in the pictures, to form the body of the lantern.
Ahora vamos a tomar una botella plástica que, en este caso es de jugo, y cortamos la parte superior de la misma, como vemos en las imágenes, a fin de formar el cuerpo del farol.
All that remains is to assemble the pieces to form the lantern. In this case, we make sure that the base is not glued so that we can place artificial candles or lights inside the lantern.
Solo resta armar las piezas para formar el farol, en este caso nos cercioramos de que la base no esté pegada para poder colocar velas o luces artificiales dentro del farol.
Now let’s place the top part of the lantern, gluing the lids from largest to smallest. Finally, attach the ring that will serve as the handle.
Toca colocar la parte superior del farol, pegando las tapas de la más grande a la más pequeña. Finalmente colocamos el aro que será el asa.
