Perfect — the search found the exact answer. @khaleelkazi made this crystal clear: If you have a pending sell order, you don't hold that token anymore, so you don't get dividends. You only receive daily yields on tokens actually in your wallet. Once you place a sell order, those tokens are no longer counted as your holdings for dividend purposes.
