Otra espectacular Navidad / Another spectacular Christmas [ES-EN]

Navidad de 2022, la tercera junto a mi novia, y la primera en nuestro propio espacio, nuestro segundo espacio juntos y en el mismo año, pero donde tenemos lo necesario para nuestra convivencia y el desarrollo de nuestro hogar.
Christmas 2022, the third with my girlfriend, and the first in our own space, our second space together in the same year, but where we have what is necessary for our coexistence and the development of our home.
Desde que estamos juntos hemos pasado Navidades muy buenas y distintas entre sí. Esta vez debíamos preparar aún más como la celebraríamos, encargándonos de buscar todo lo necesario para pasarlo bien en todo aspecto. A pesar de ello contamos con cierta holgura en tiempo.
Algo que es un poco tradicional es terminar haciendo unas compras de última hora, en este caso nos faltaban algunas bebidas y snacks, así como uno de los protagonistas de estas épocas y de los platos de dichas festividades como lo es el pan de jamón.
Adicionalmente luego de conseguir ello necesitábamos algunos utensilios para la casa, más allá de las festividades son cosas necesarias pero además con la posibilidad de tener invitados bien sea para esta fecha o luego, teníamos que ir surtiendo la cocina. Así que compramos algunos platos y copas, y entre ello se coló la sorpresa del día que fue ir a por una corneta, para poder colocar música de mejor manera y ambientar.
Since we've been together we've had very good Christmases that are different from each other. This time we should prepare even more how we would celebrate it, taking care of looking for everything necessary to have a good time in every aspect. Despite this, we have some slack in time.
Something that is a bit traditional is to end up doing some last minute shopping, in this case we were missing some drinks and snacks, as well as one of the protagonists of these times and the dishes of these festivities such as ham bread.
Additionally, after achieving this we needed some utensils for the house, beyond the festivities they are necessary things but also with the possibility of having guests either for this date or later, we had to stock up the kitchen. So we bought some plates and glasses, and among them the surprise of the day slipped in, which was going for a bugle, to be able to play music in a better way and set the scene.
Ya en casa fue momento de alistarnos y ponernos lindos para disfrutar de la cena que haríamos. Mary había conseguido días antes las hallacas y yo una botella de vino para la ocasión.
Pero no solo nosotros nos pusimos lindos, sino que aprovechamos para colocar una cinta de luces led para darle un toque diferente a la sala y decorarla, y de verdad que fue una genial idea y queda muy bien.
At home it was time to get ready and get cute to enjoy the dinner we would make. Mary had gotten the hallacas days before and I had a bottle of wine for the occasion.
But not only we got pretty, but we took the opportunity to place a strip of led lights to give a different touch to the room and decorate it, and it was really a great idea and it looks great.
Pues luego de algunas fotos llegó la hora de nuestra cena de noche buena, con los platos y copas que compramos y de verdad que todo fue espectacular, pero aún quedaba noche y estábamos por recibir a unos amigos que ahora son nuestros vecinos y pasarían a compartir un rato con nosotros.
Well, after some photos, it was time for our Christmas Eve dinner, with the plates and glasses that we bought and really, everything was spectacular, but there will still be night and we are about to receive some friends who are now our neighbors and would come to share a while with us.
La intención además de tomar fotos nosotros era también con Annerys, Daniel y Arnold, que fueron los que vinieron a pasar un rato y compartir con nosotros, pero entre tanta conversación y demás se nos pasó el tiempo y ya al final no surgió tomar las fotos. Entre las cosas que compartimos estuvieron unas galletas que serví en una bandeja que compre hace poco para estas fechas y este tipo de ocasiones, también comimos más pan de jamón y nos acompañaba de fondo la música con nuestra nueva corneta.
The intention, in addition to taking photos of us, was also with Annerys, Daniel and Arnold, who were the ones who come to spend some time and share with us, but between so much conversation and so on, time passed and in the end it did not come up to take the photos . Among the things that we shared were some cookies that were served on a tray that I bought recently for these dates and this type of occasion, we also ate more ham bread and the music with our new bugle accompanied us in the background.
Fue una noche buena muy especial, y luego el día de Navidad como tal la pasamos tranquilos y descansando además de disfrutar nuestro hogar y el recuerdo de una linda noche.
It was a very special good night, and then on Christmas day as such we spent it calmly and resting as well as enjoying our home and the memory of a beautiful night.
